My post is toward anyone that whined about not having a place to play and then said they wanted to get good in ssf4 so if you fit that description then yes if not no. It seems people at Stockton whin for nothing cause they don’t want to support anything. I tried to help the scene but now I know only to help my self. Fuck the whiners. Nobody whines about not having a place to play because they couldn’t. There was a place but they didn’t want to support it cause they didn’t want to look bad or it wasn’t there game and they had no desire to help out and bring a tv for there game. This is excluding mondo, august and cody brang a set up once. All I’m saying is it was a waste of time on my part.
hey look, i honestly never made it simply because i didnt have transportation. i’m sorry about that. and honestly, i love football. i can’t help it. and on sundays, that’s the day most of the games are played. so i admit, that kinds distracted me from going even more. now i’m not anything good in ssf4 period, and i know that. so me not going, i figured wouldint make much of a big deal. i’m just speaking for myself here.
now that football season is pretty much over, and my team is out, i’m down to focus on gettin’ these sessions back together. plus, i admit, i kinda started a underground lab for us players who well, wanna watch football and play games too. =[

I would love to be able to go to your gatherings Mike but I cant. The Wife only gets one or two days off a week (she usually works saturdays) so I like to spend that with her and the kids. Plus im freakin’ tired and just want to relax by the time sunday rolls around and thats usually the only day I get to rest.
Plus I suck at sfiv and you guys dont want some scrub like me hangin’ around. I also dont have any setup to bring to play the game/s I like.

Ah just disappointed is all. The scene never was big in Stockton but I thought since we had a lot of new player that we can do it. It’s too much on me to provide EVERYTHING EVERY TIME got old. A scene doesn’t survive with one person helping but everybody helping doing what they can. I had to do a lot of talking to get that spot to play and nobody really thought anything of it.
Yeah, I understand. That’s why I posted in the past asking how it went and if people had a good time. Trying to get people to talk about it (not just talk shit) and maybe get other people interested. No one seemed interested though. Its really disheartening but at least you tried.
The other thing is that a lot of players in the 209 area (Stockton/Lodi/Manteca in particular) either don’t post on these forums or don’t post in this thread so nothing gets noticed. Like there was a thread about a tournament here in Stockton and only 3 people looked at the thread. Shit its normally just the same few people posting in this thread, and its always just lame drama. Look at the last couple pages of us going on. lol I don’t think that attracts attention.
