Yeah I know Genjuro has some sick ass corner trap UB stuff…I just experimented with it today…and he’s worse in Tenka than he is in NGBC…the UB stuff he can do of canceling a qcb+c is GREAT…I got some sick stuff I can do with that believe me!!!
Nak has better options on the bird in NGBC like Launch or she can do super from bird (helps believe me) or st.axnxxbird super stuff like that…shes got some options believe me…
And I hope many know now that Athena is not as bad as you think…my goal is to show people what a Master Athena can do…now she may not be top tier but I wanna make you guys rethink her bottom class ranking…
EDIT: I mean geez the only reason I can see her being ranked so low today is because YES…she does take work…
That place never really took off. You could tell when DG brought it up every 3rd or 4th post he made or when he kept talking about NGBC in the KOFXI thread…

It alsop doesn’t help by driving it into the ground by telling people to post conatantly, then brag about how you’re an OP. As for a 2nd NBC, I’d love it, but it prolly isn’t going to happen because it wasn’t very sucessful overall.
K’s problems don’t necessarily have to do with damage. Rather, it’s the methods by which he can deal out damage. He has no easy way of doing big damage off of a light attack that is easy to set up or land. Given a clean opening and one stock, it’s not hard for him to do 50% damage in one combo.
What makes K’ weak in this game is that he has no real mixup, his pressure game is weak outside of the corner, and his ground poke game is GARBAGE. He actually does pretty good damage in a lot of situations, and his zoning and spacing game with Trigger followups and his good jumping normals are nice positives, but he lacks the attributes that all of the strong characters in the game can attest to, and thus he can’t really compete with them.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s got his positives and moves that he can abuse. He can win. He’s just a fairly shitty version of himself in this game, and he has to work too hard to fight top tiers.
I hope and pray that there is an NGBC2…Turbovec what proof (just curous I wanna see!!)
you have that NGBC wasn’t that successful? Just curious bc I really REALLY want them to make a sequel…
And next interview they should ask Falcoon if there is gonna be an NGBC2…
I think as a whole Falcoon stated about NGBC2 that a sequel would be made depending on the sales…
meaning the arcade sales wouldnt pertain to it mostly…
NGBC is one of my favorite games…current faves are NeoWave, soon to be XI, Tenka, and NGBC…

maybe should they make an NGBC2 things will change…

Sure, no prob. ^^ NBC was doing alright in terms of being played for the first month it came out. However, as everyone knows, Tenka came out and then everyone moved to that. NBC was nowhere near the top ten played arcade games at that point. So, if they decide to release NBC based off of the first month of its arcade life, then we might see an NBC2. However, should SNK decide to look at at its entire gaming lifespan, then there’s no way we’re gonna see a sequel as no one plays it anymore. Oh, and an OP is an Operator, which is kinda like a moderator.
