And did anyone ever figure out this “pseudo-infinite” with Hotaru? I’ve been messing around with her lately, and I can’t figure out where it would come from. Is this a ground attack pattern with stance changes, or like some sort of dirty crossup set-up with j. D, or something completely different?

Late reply, but the guy who was using it on us was doing it without killing the character with the DA. This was on the arcade version if it matters.
So besides that what else happened with the glitch? Was Kyo invincible too? And did he play with both characters at once?
Is the glitch ban worthy?
he did it with kyo on point and i dont know if iori was invincible or if the game just wouldnt let us hit both characters at once or something but like big spin wouldnt hit iori at all. Basically his tactic was to fight as normal til he could land he glitch then have iori sit behind your character and chain fireballs while kyo rushed you down. it was really lame.
edit: he also would use it against the cpu final bosses. just reconfirming that he would do the glitch without koing a character to activate it. If jeron happens to see this topic maybe he will comment on it also, he fought the guy a few times before i got to the arcade, and Zar (cf regular) witnessed it also.
as far as bannable or not bannable i guess if anyone can do it there’s not alot of reason to ban it, but again i dont know the conditions to activate it and the one person we fought who did obviously wasn’t telling. It does seem like it’d make the game alot different if not alot worse, i can’t imagine what it would be like if both players managed the activate the glitch at once.

thats because nobody plays this game not saying its crap by any means I like it, and well it looks like its going to last longer than HNK lol, but for interest to come back the game needs a solid Sequel.
Yes which I seriously hope it gets…it is a great game…as word goes around XI and Tenka killed it practically…

yea thats true, whats worse is if NGBC2 happens its likely KOF XII will kill it again or MOTW2, they need to space out releases, lol snk giving themselfs problems, all be it good for us because so many good games are out.
I totally agree…though I love the overload…like you say because thats many many new games to keep me occupied…I use to be into 3s pretty hardcore honestly(I prefer SNK still though)…but as my friends know I have put that game aside (indefinately)because of the new games like NeoWave (1 year new), Tenka, NGBC, and XI coming…its fresh life into the fighting game community…and I’m addicted!!!
Yeah and the possibility of Garou 2 coming out we will have Garou 2, Tenka Special possibly, KOFXII, then NGBC2…man life will be GOOD!!! Hahahha!! (Too bad they aint releasing a Last Blade 3)
Then ontop of that we got that Power Instinct 3 game…which is just a rehash of Matrimelee…but I think SNK is really headed in the right direction on
Lets hope though the Aurora is not the Naomi in terms of power SNK will continue to give us high grade games like they have been in the past…and now they probably can afford to beef up the sprites for the characters…

They’re RM files. So unless you have RM player, or the RM PLayer Codec, then it’s not gonna work.
It’s too bad that more people don’t know about NGBC, this game rocks. Right now I play it more than 03, SvC, NeoWave, or Tenka. I just can’t believe I can finally play as the Jins again, plus alot of other characters like Hanzo/Fumma, I waited years for this and now a lot of people where I live are like Neo Battle what !? I hope they release a sequal, but if they don’t, I still have this game forever so I can play as these charaters any time I want. Also I think this game has good music.

and people have bought it believe me…its just that XI and Tenka have killed it as far as current play…Cell feel free to come share your knowledge at what I am making to be the place for NGBC…

I agree with you. I think this game rocks. There’s no one around where I live to play it with though! I can’t remember the last boss’s name. Mizuichi? I love his music.
I just play it by myself, and after awhile it gets kinda boring practicing combos and playing the cpu. I wish people actually played this game in my area. Or even Tenka.
Mizuchi’s God like music is awesome…it makes you feel as if you are fighting a deity…but the true last boss is Goodman…I like his music too…
rock coupled with melodic piano…excellent…Guys majors are perfect for people like us…
we can all meet each other and play against each other…here in Denton the Denton Crew plays this game…and that is the major exposure I get outside of TS6…
I wish I was like in NYC or Calif where like everyone plays it at a high level…:sad:
