Well, it looks like that won’t be happening any time soon. :wonder:
I’ve decided that I’m going to try to get things right the first time with the NBC combo vid so I’m looking for a team of people who can help with capturing combos since there’s way too many to do. No need to research for combos since I alreay got them down on paper, just needs to be pulled off. Credit will go to the player in the video of course.
I have a few Terry Rock Shermie Kim Robert Karate and… I think I know a few Kyo combos…
If you know anyone in NY that has a camera, I’d be glad to show off…
Wow, this thread is big. I have a question.
Has anyone found anything which breaks the game? Or, do you think this game could work in a tournament?
Its a good tournament game…there are not many ground-breaking things in the game…the loke tests make a difference trust me!!!
So, may I ask, why is this game dead in Japan?
I’ve heard some “It was just a less deep filler til KOFXI got here” sentiment, but I don’t really understand it.
IMHO, the tag system in this is way better than KOFXI, because of the healing, and as a result, it adds a new layer of strategy because you have to keep track of your health-management. What does KOF have that makes it deeper? Am I missing something?
NGBC has a better cast than KOFXI too, though I’ll admit, the fact that there are only like 6 real backgrounds in the game is kind of lame.
Oh well, I’m gonna be playing tenka for the next while anyway.
…seriously.
i agree with you, i prefer nbc over kof for its slower paced gameplay, interesting roster, interesting system, etc…
thing is and this is just what ive noticed seems that ppl have little time for a new original game these days. put out a new version of something they know and like and the fanbase will move over to it enmasse (tenka, kof, gg, etc) but try something new and only the brave ones will bother…
fotns is prolly evidence of that as well though sometimes its hard to tell if the turnoff is that its a totally new franchise or the game itself is just crap…
I wanna know. Why is NBC dead in NY? I’m like the only one who plays it in CF. I feel hurt…
Shrug we’ve been playing it on console. Alot of regulars for this stuff just don’t go to CF anymore, the place stinks, literally.
Hell let me come with you guys then…
Look for the only black kid in the hood that plays NGBC…
ALL THE DAMN TIME!
I might get off to play CVS2, but that’s about it.
I dunno if we ever played but the people to play. Me, TJ, and these two Mexican guys who play SVC and 98 sometimes. Thats the only competition at the moment. Of course there are people on that game randomly. The fobs play sometimes but when they lose they go back to 98 lol!
You might wanna look into the console version for this game. Since most tournaments will be on console anyway!
NGBC just died in the aracade I go to methinks…oh well at least I fially go to see Ai and Yuki turn into Atomic Guy LMAO.
Anyways found some random site with some quick NGBC combos, mostly stuff that involve Mars People’s egg super but still good anyways check it out.
c.A is broken.
Well Kof XI looks like plenty of fun so it was just a given that NGBC would be put aside for it~
Guys KOF XI, NGBC, Sam Sho Tenka…need we say anymore??? SNK is making itself known WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!
If NGBC had been released before any information of a new KOF would have been released it would have had a stronger fanbase. Due to the fact that KOF players would have nothing else to play.
But before NGBC was released they began testing KOF XI so most its fans didn’t even want to give it a chance afterward. But both games are great and if they are a true sample of future SNKP titles, then the future looks bright. Although appartenly if NGBC doesn’t sell well on PS2 there won’t be a sequel.
Not if you have a low counter or are a LB character.
Dammit, where is the love for Terry and Rocky? Terry is possibly the most balanced character in NGBC. But he’s a gimmick character.
LB characters have broken c.As.
Can you low counter my c.A x3 block string? I swear Iori’s is like 2 frames.
Quoted for truth.
