-cross up with j.JK
-use his qcb+D in the air alot, learn the range and outframe if they block it with c.LKx2->b+A.
-use his b+LP after c.LKx2 then outframe with c.LK again, mix in running/dashing throw every 2 or 3 cycles.
-if you land outside of c.LK range use c.HK and combo into high or low fb to keep them on their toes.
-stick with his fb super, use it after his normal fb at range or hold the button down to take out jumping opponents.
-use his b+A overhead as much as possible.
-j.HK is great.
-use his d-u+K as an anti air, works really well and has a decent hit box.
Hey beezle, the cross-up is Jumping D right? Oh and how do you get outta the corner with him? I really can’t do anything besides poke my way out or random sommersault kick.
i use his c.LK to outprioritize whenever im stuck, that includes in the corner. if i really need to create space coz they wont let me jump out i just do something like c.LKx2->b+A->c.LKx2->dash throw.
not a combo of course, its a block string but if you outframe them and setup for the dash throw by forcing the block you can get the knockdown and create some space. also good to mixup the c.LK with the c.LP at times as the b+A tacked onto c.LPx2 will hit as an overhead coz its not a true combo unlike the c.LKx2.
Tung worries my very soul in this game. Anyone have any decent notes on him other that C>fwdC>QCB+A? I mean, this shit is all I get. Decent air D, nice cr.B despite being short, and you can cancel a far C at proper range. No GOOD comboable super string, in matter of fact, unless I use QCFx2 K as an antiair (lol), I don’t want to risk using his supers blind. I can see maybe qcfx2 P during their tag at full screen, but even that is not safe. Also, I just can’t get priority with his dp K, should I be using the 1/2 meter version more or just say the hell with it.
Yeah his super strings arent that great…beelze would be the best person for advice on Tung I’M SURE. Im sure you’ve already visited what ArcadeFire posted in the Other Games NGBC Stratrs section and in this thread.
I personally use his rapid fire Punch move as an AA myself…its great for chip damage also…
But I think what you describe is why Tung is low tier…at least to a degree…
And according to the latest Arcadia results THE WORST CHARACTER IN THE GAME.

Yuki can tigerknee his air dash and after it do and button attack ala Mag style rush down and also after the dash falling can do the electricity attack. The air dash also crosses up so use it that way also!!!
With Yuki you want to do his memory card slasher/charger as often as possible to beef up your attacks. Some people that don’t know that his move that jumps briefly is a counter will fall for hit bc they think it is a Command Grab (bc it looks like something Ralf or Clark/Shermie/orochi characters would do to grab you)
Yuki as of now is bottom tier…Along with Athena, Tung, Chonshu, Chonrei…Shermie is D class…thats sucks.
Yuki can also Tiger Knee his laser beam super (Cable anyone??)

A good note…many of Yukis things have great recovery…but thats where GCFS comes into play.
Yeah…with Yuki you’re always having to create space for him and stuff. Just keep powering-up his Beast Buster and Submarine Screw since you’ll be using them alot. air lighting move is really useful even without power-ups.
Confusion…its the confusion style with the blocks that IMO keeps her almost random, makes her annoying as hell to fight…and if you dont have a projectile or a good poker it can be hard as hell if the “AI of AI” (inside joke) or a good player with AI knows what he/she is doing.
Plus she can catch projectiles and bat them back…She can keep you on the lockdown, prevent you from jumping…all that shit…she controls the speed at which her blocks comes down, which means you have to be methodical in your approach to attacking her.
No, he cant do the SDA after the DP, Only thing that connects after the DP is another DP and I think a qcf A. Just do qcf C qcf C qcf A qcf D hcb C then the SDA since it sets up for it.
Yeah I know he can’t connect the SDA after his combo, Ive tried that shit like fifty times and I said “fuck it” lol. Yeah A DP/qcf+a/c is like the only thing I know he can do off it…I havent tried a air red kick though.

Okay as you can tell from my sig I’ve started using completley new teams now. Yeah…Neo-Dio is SO offensivley aimed that he’s got like ZERO defemsive options. Mars People needs to control the pace of a match/runaway. Anyway I needa think up who I can pair with King Lion and Mizuchi…so far I got:

Yuki
I also wanna try to “learn” Shermie and Cyber Woo since this is one of the few games where I don’t use a grappler(Besides 3s).
Yeah I agree Neo Dio is all about Rushdown(but his slashes from a distance are pretty safe as well as is st. D)…and With King Lion Ive experimented…they complement each other…rush down…then turtle…hehehe…King Lion can turtle all day and punish ANY WHIFF/Counter pretty nicely and can supercancel off the counter!!..comboing off overheads and all that…geez…hes really good…him and King Lion I say…if not use Kaede…the rekkas and Dp are like all you need…and go for the 60% combo…cr.b,cr.a a rekka, cancel FIRST HIT to C light saber super…DEATH. Both King Lion and Neo Dio have some SICK WAKEUP OPTIONS…
Cyber Woo is a beast…autoguard on the rush in, can do that to 360 or sweep and cancel first hit of sweep to rush down again…man…
Oh yeah something I just thought about to mention that noobs may want to know:
In this game unlike in KOF Super Canceling DOES NOT TAKE ANY METER…so think 3s…NOT KOF…where you’d waste 2 supers to do ONE COMBO!!!
I wish this weren’t true but it is, Terry can lock her down no problem in this game, so can Rock…hell, she even has a hard time against Asura sometimes…
