what can you do? kof players are just waiting for kofxi and the rest of the fighting gamers play vf, melty blood, sf3ts, sfae, ggxxreloadslash2alpha+ or tekken.
seems any other game (ss, NBC, etc) will need to be better than the above by quite a stretch to really get love imo.
hopefully NBC 2 will do the job coz NBC is an awesome way to start a series.

Personally, I am very inclined to say that it sucks horribly.
Mars People has CRAZY air priority and most of his supers hit from behind. You kind of of have to play runaway with him because his normals suck.
You can only run away that much… only that jump back D is good…
His supers don’t even deal much damage. More of a nuisance actually.
ppl can run under your jump and hit you from behind coz mars ppl jump too high

I know it won’t do me much good, seeing as arcades are all dead around here, but just so I know…

mars ppl has possibly the best jumping priority of any character.
crazy mixups and mind games after his fb, he can confuse you after it as well as move in/jump.
he can juggle really well (ive seen a 27 hit combo with him much of it from juggling not multi hit supers.
crazy nice long range c.L->DA combo for taking red bar.

How does Hotaru (from MotW) play in this?
I played her yesterday but some things felt out of place, I couldn’t figure out much outside of canceling her sweep into fireball, nor combos. I’m stupid like that. Also, what’s with the new Xiyaou-esque move she’s got?

Hotaru is annoying…people out here just do the same combo into super or DA with her. She’s REALLY good.

WTF? I just played it at Family Fun this weekend. Is it just me, or is the AI incredibly retarded? I kept on pressing one button in some rounds, to perform Genjuro’s fierce slash, and the AI just kept walking into it!!
Also, is there like a time limit before you have to fight the final boss (who, BTW, is an annoying bitch)?
Yes, the AI is very stupid sometimes. The 1P mode of the game is somewhat of a Survival/Time Attack style thing.
