definitely the corner game. it’s so tight that i couldn’t even get my character to jump (!?) sometimes. and goddamn if he hits you.
my new team is kyo/kisara because ai is really hard to play, definitely a ‘wait for console’ character. any advice on how to get out of the corner besides not getting in it? kisara can do her qcf+a move out of it if there’s an opening. one would think kyo could just dp it but it doesn’t seem to work since genjuro has such good range. so i’m thinking jump up red kick out of there? not sure…

genj is slower than geese so you might be best off looking for the hole in his rush down game in the corner and slipping a c.LIGHT in, stepping through a high frame count attack or jumping out when you see the hole.
geese on the other hand is faster but doesnt have as good range on his corner game nor the fb that bounces off your head so in his case you are best off weathering the storm till he pushes himself too far back then jumping and beating him out in the air…
beelzebubble- is it true that asura is terrible (you can duck under his fireball??) and very unpopular in this game? Also, does shiki have the move from SVC where shes reverses your moves??

As for Neowave Robert, while he’s good, it’s just 2k2 Robert. He’s best off in MAX2 mode. 2k3 Robert shits on all previous models.
no asura isnt terrible. he doesnt seem very strong though. he has three fb’s A/B/C versions, C is three arrows and cant be ducked, im pretty sure only the A version can be ducked, its very fast though.
ive never used K and he doesnt get used very much either, besides he seems pretty much to be his 2k3 self…
about geese, yes hes crazy good in the corner, not very good at mid to long range though.
just received my NGBC about an hour ago, I gotta say my 1st impressions of this game are good, certainly better than NeoWave which dissapointd me greatly, although . . . what the hell have they done to Robert :xeye: and where in the hell is Moriya’s DP ?

I don’t really like the hit detections. But they seem like you can get used to them.
