I haven’t played a whole lot of NGBC yet but I still can’t get over the fact that Robert looks so bad animation wise (AOF3 Robert forever!). Gameplay wise I think he rocks though. What are his best pairings for something of a counter/turtle team? Sorry if this has already been asked but I’m too lazy to read the entire thread. Thanks in advance.

Ok so Ive had this came since the day it came out and I like fuma at first but hanzo has taken his place now. I love that you can combo his close C into rdp.D and then teleport A Super cancel into his air super anywhere on screen!! the timing is strict, you have to teleport as ASAP and catch them on their way down to connect the super but it works on Kim Big and athena so far. I need to see if its universal or just Char specific.
Oh and DG when you coming to austin man? I need some more SNK peeps to improve my game. Anyone in austin just send me a PM and lets throw down.
If they make another game(sequel) they need to really change it up. Put a character line-up that people aren’t use to. Like:

Nastro- Yeah man she is supremely basic…and very ineffective…I’ll play/mimic a lot of the teams you al are talking about in Geese Tower casuals so you all can see how practical all this stuff really is and what works and what does not work etc. Man I wish I could go to NC to play because NC is the only people practically int he world that stands in my way in this game…but I dont have access to that…but I DO have access to Mexico…So its a trade off,
Kayin- BRC is the DG terminology for what I call Blue Rush Cancel…this gets instant Archiving because it explains NGBCS Roman Cancel.
Its in the middle of Combo or fierce or certain things if you have at least 50% of one bar you can Press A+B to Roman Cancel and you will flash Blue and be able to continue the attack/combo.
Practically everyone can BRC off Sweeps, Fierces, normals and other things.
Experiment with it but beware that it costs meter.
Yes trust me we all have high hopes for NGBC2…thus the more that play it the more SNKp will see people actually DO like this game and they will play it more.

i don’t think Nako’s impractical… im saying some of the shit i want to do seems impractical… im sure she can win (givin the hard work put forth)…it ain’t as bad as 3s sean (YOU MUTHAFUckAS) so im willing to give it a shot…

I’m so used to guilty gear that it feels weird reading that “this character sucks so don’t touch them” in this game. It’s like why bother playing if you can only get anywhere with high tiers.
I dunno if this my copy,which I doubt cuz it’s brand new, so I’ll ask here:
In training mode if you have 1 team that has Kyo as the starting character and the other team has Iori as the starting character and they do their intro on boss levels the screen won’t go black but instead the stage will be visible and Kyo and Iori will do their intro and when it’s do the stage will be pure white. It’s odd. I mean did it on the lass boss stage then switched to Neo-Dio’s stage and they did the intro and the screen went white again. Has this happened to anyone else?
It’s no big deal though you can just skip the intro and the stage will be fine.
Anyway after some playtime I’ve come down to two teams:
Kyo/Robert
Hanzo/Shiki
Should I mix them up incase there a better combination or are they fine as is?
i don’t think anybody has said that just use high tier, and you’'ll win… it’s basically if you decide on charcters with a mid tier status… then be prepare for some hard work… GG is the same way esp. in AC…( why use robo ky when you can use Jam, HOS, or eddie…) there are tiers in AC… and there are charcters that take a lot of work to win with like chipp and zappa…
TF- you know ill be down for NGBC tourney yo… i gots to see this through man…
I wouldnt say Big has safe hitconfirms… esp into torpedo…but yeah hes the easiest character.
Hatred Edge- Dude thats normal trust me…about Kyo-Iori.
Thanks to that Mai primer I may also run Kyo/Mai. Any idea what Rock’s bad matchups are? Any that are particularly in Mai’s favor?
Rock has bad matchups on anyone that can take advantgae of his lack of a solid anti air…that means Mudman, TUNG, and others…that can rush him down…
I cant think of any particular matches in Mais favor except ironically vs. Rock…He cant stop Mais ambigious crossup shit because counters wont work…
