I dont play SF4 Markudea so i never really picked it up… My game has been over my boy house for the past two weeks and i think i played it one day to see how the championship mode was when it dropped. lol. I am still gone enter in it regardless though. SF4 is not complex in the slightest. i play this game off memory and reaction. Simply.

Aye FS i remember you from that Howell tourny, like the first time i got to meet you an shit. I placed 3rd in that GG tourny too. And GG is not a nerd game at all. It is actually one of the most complex games to play. PEOPLE DONT PLAY IT BECAUSE THEY ONT WANNA GET EMBARRASSED. They to lazy to take the time out to learn match ups and characters. It is definitely one of the better fighting games out. And has been in my opinion i will definitely start playing the new one if people start entering. Personally i ont think i can lose in GGX2. I lost to you two cause Potemkin has a combo after he falls on the ground now. And u were doing a lot of freaky slashes with Ky that he ont got on X2. But the game is good though. You better play BlazBlue too.

Man, i have D3 and have not touched it yet actually. Laharl is the man, i could never falter on that… I like the other two but he will always be the face of that Disgaea shit… I will play em though, i just know once i start the world might not hear from me again… lol. I get addicted real easy man… RPG’s are my true love. Fighters take a deep ass 3rd… Because i’d play a Strategy RPG, a tactical RPG, a reg. RPG, and any form of Dynasty/Samurai/Warriors Orochi before a fighter anyday… :-/ My dad forced me to play fighters with him when i was growing up. Thas the only reason i am good… (He originated Balrog btw)

I don’t see why we couldn’t have BB, KoF, and SF4 at the weeklies. How late is late is Digital Ops open? We could start at 4:00 with BB, then SF4, then KoF. So long as too many people don’t show up to the weeklies, it shouldn’t be a problem. My team in KoF: Raiden, Daimon, Clark.
Maybe switch to biweeklies or do ranbat seasons like in SoCal if doing that EVERY WEEK seems like too much of a hassle… but I agree, BB + KoF + SF4 would be ideal.

First of all, I played Guilty Gear X in 2001, before you and the world jumped all over the bandwagon, when it was at Wizzards arcade right next to the San Francisco Rush 2049 machine, back when Wizzards was 1 of 5 places IN THE USA who had Guilty Gear: FACT. I BEEEEEN stopped playing that game serious when I got frustrated of the way people ran from me when I picked Potemkin (The first person in Michigan using him, ask around), so eventually I just stopped playing as a whole. Remember, this is 2001. I never played Reloaded X2, Slash, AC, etc. I haven’t played GG since 2001! When I was at the Howell tournament homegirl, I was entered in… maybe 4 tournaments at the same time. I was helping RUN tournaments and playing in them at the same time. After beating up whoever I was playing GG in casuals pretty badly (And I don’t play this game, I don’t even know the differences between the versions, seriously, awful game) I went on to do my thing everywhere else, do you think I practiced in GG or some shit? I don’t give a fuck about GG, shit is weak, and I tell everybody it’s weak. You and AJ got 2nd place? Fucking fantastic! Twan got 3rd place, and he didn’t play either! Me and Twan go back and forth on GG, so I guess I coulda got 3rd too right? You bragging on a 8-man or less tournament? LOL… fuck outta here… And I played every game at the front of Wizzards to some degree. At the peak of Cvs2 I beat everybody who was supposed to be good, and I was never a Cvs2 player. I beat everybody who was good at Mvc2, EVERYBODY. Nobody played 3s at Wizzards normally, so I didn’t touch that game very much. We used to sit and watch each other fight the computer at 3s, see who can beat Gill lol. I dominated Tekken at the arcade, clearly, next subject. These are all games that stayed in normal competition until last year. Oh, almost forgot, I was top tier at Halo 1 too, because that’s the game that we all played instead of fighting games in 2003 or so. Yeah, I ran that Halo shit, and I didn’t even have an Xbox, TALENT lol. I’m good at all games by default, every genre, RPG, Strategy, FPS, fighting games, I’ll even get good at a sports game even though I hate em, I been gaming since 1985, I am a beast, go sit down.
Funny thing about this is I just seen Jo-el yesterday at Oakland Mall for the release of BR. He did his thing in TTT. The first time I went out of state in 2001 I placed 5th, Drac actually the one who knocked me into the losers bracket, and proceeded to win the tournament. I had to play on pad so I was only at 40%, I only played TTT on pad once before that tournament and I didn’t have a MAS stick back then, 5th place my first out of state tournament, ON PAD, I beat a lot of unbeatable people and I made a lot of noise, I never seen my name posted after a tournament so many times, I won my callout match first round against STLBADBOY, nothing but accomplishments. You were where? And need I remind people that back then, I was still a child, I didn’t even have fucking money to play at the arcade and practice, and I was too broke to buy a PS2 with TTT, lol, and I beat almost every Tekken nerd to death, in and out of state, PERIOD. Jinmaster did his thing at the end of T4, T5/T5DR. But at this point in time, he wasn’t in Michigan anymore, he didn’t live in Michigan or didn’t play people in Michigan, so as far as I’m concerned that doesn’t count, because IF he lived here, I would’ve have kept playing, the fact that he was my only comp made me quit as a whole, for about I dunno? 4-5 years maybe? lol
My last official tournament where I practiced was EVO North aka MWC 2007, I practiced against the computer in Tekken DR for one week (I bought my PS3 on 6/15/07 and the tourny was a week later), and this is when T5DR had NO PRACTICE MODE, and I was one match for qualifying for Evo lol. I tied for 12th place out of a 96+ man tournament, not too shabby for playing almost nobody for a week huh? ONE WEEK? Most of those dudes been playing DR at the arcade since 2006 LOL. Since then I had end up selling my PS3 to pay the taxes on my car ($500) and I quit playing Tekken. But seeing Twan play 3s in the summer-time for the first time got me interested, because I seen he had a lot of TALENT and POTENTIAL. Ask anybody in this thread. I had Twan fight everybody who was supposed to be good at 3s in about 2 weeks time. He beat everybody with little or no problem, and he wasn’t even scientific at the game, no youtube, no match vids, just what he knew. After that I decided to take him to Season Beatings 2 with me to see him play. I hadn’t played Tekken since I sold my PS3 in July, but nevertheless I went anyways, I did horrible, it was a good experience for him though, his first official tournament. After that was the Howell tournament you speak of in January. I bought another PS3 a few days before the tournament, I got 3rd in the real thing, not bad for somebody who hasn’t played since last summer right? lol… Next was Cinncinatti the next weekend. Michigan won EVERY tournament. Only one we didn’t win was Cvs2, which popoblo or whatever his name is won, I don’t even think any of us entered it. Next was FXI in Atlanta… I tried practicing, but with WHO? WHO would I practice with? lol… I had the computer to play against once again. Another tournament I did horrible in, no interest, poor work ethic, I’m retired, it’s like watching Tyson fight Kevin McBride almost. Twan did good of course, got like 13th or some shit out of 120+ in 3s. Next was MWC 2008. We all went to that. I ended up not even entering ANY tournaments lol. I think the next tournament I went to was Howell part 3 in the fall/winter. Another tournament where I didn’t enter anything lol. I didn’t even make it to the Tekken 6 tournament in December ON TIME lol. On the other hand, I seen you at Howell 3, you came in with a hood on, like you’re some dark figure or some shit, like you Phantom of the Opera or some shit, came in and left back out before anybody could see you, LOL. Yeah, they had a Guilty Gear tournament that day too, I believe Josh Ballard won, why didn’t you stay and win champ? lol
Frankly they talk about excuses and shit, but in reality I never heard so many excuses except from this Clayton dude. He loses in Wizzards tournaments because of the sticks. He has a sickness so that he can’t stop pissing on himself etc. Fine dude, that’s fucked up. Afromatic aka Mike Silva has hand/arm conditions too. My tendons in my hands are so bad that I can’t block low half the time, lol. Ive only OCVED just my vdo,terril teams before in tournies. If I recall correctly actaully wizzard tournies I use to forfeit. In one sense you cuold say I wasnt even beat. CuzI would walk away from the machine. Funny everyone hates my excuse for wizzards. But when detroit would go to AA, and bhaskar, kolonji whoever would win those tournies, detroit would cry foul on AA sticks. Very hypocritcal if you ask me. Again the whole everyone thinks they are the best, and is quick to talk shit about others.
As for your whole tekken arguement that fines dude. I dont care. Im only takeing offense that you think you are claiming to win in all these games period. As for pad. Who teh fuck cares. I had to start playing on pad to cuz of my hands. So guess when I went on that year or so win streak in GG, I was minus 40% cuz of pad as well. And who knows with health. How about 100% disadvantage.
As for why I didnt stay that tournament, how about I was up till 10am that day next to a garbage can sick. And then of course when I get there who else is holding up the tournament but you fucking detroit fucks not showing up on time. You guys are always running a monopoly on tournaments not showing up on time. And no one running tournies ever has the balls to disqualify you guys. So yea I was sick sorry, I didnt stay. I remember i tried to play a bit and I didnt even ahve the strength to hold down the buttons to FD. So im suppose to stay and wait hours for everyone to show up again while im sick for a game I dont play? I only went cuz it was 15 mins away. Sorry.

Why cant you just admit you still play games. I guess people have very strange rules or views of what is playing and practicing a game. I guess my definition of when I say I dont play games is my ps2 has had a fighting game in it only ONE since the end of last summer or so. My games are in the closet collecting dust. I do not play/practice games in any sense of the word. Playing 100s of matchs, going to the arcade reaching some new dan, in tekken or whatever the fuck you do. That is still playing games.
