Very nice.
Tight shit, everyone. Just to introduce myself, I used to go by Vegafuse here, I learned to draw by doodling like every weekend, I’m into gamedeveloping and I play SF/GG/KOF/etc., competitively, and whateva. Here are my M$ Paint contributions:
This was for a fighting game I was planning to make…
Concept art for another group
I don’t usually draw in the anime-ish style, but this is all I have so far. I also make pixel art.
Once again, very nice!
I need to try my hand at this again.
Edit:
Just tryin’ out new shit. I like the effect the spray can had. I’ll need to tinker with that some more.
how are you getting those concise lines?
also the one above looks like a badass tigger cosplaying as some battle orc. nice
lol.
she looks like Phae to me.
 Yeah, I was too lazy to customize color tones for skin color so I just went with that orange one. That’s my GO TO color in Paint.

Color doesn’t make sense, but this is prolly the most time I spent on an MSPaint drawing. :woot:
Just an everyday even in the life of, Sasmasta.
This is really fucking cool though.
shit is dope Sas…
Nice Sasmasta, I’m especially diggin’ the mecha-bee :bgrin:
Awesome stuff! I know you used zoom and stuff to clean it up but was this done with a mouse? Still, I really like the last pic, great dynamic!:wow:
One of my friends on Deviantart does most of his stuff in mspaint, you should check it out.
Heh, It’s all mouse, I’m too much of a cheapskate to buy anything like a tablet :wgrin: I do zoom in, but mostly to tackle those stray pixels. In case anyone is wondering, here’s my process in making the portraits.
http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/2194/wipframe02lp3.gif
I make a frame starting with a circle and then using the line tool for the basic shape of the head. I select the pencil tool and start sketching, using the frame as a guideline. This is the phase where I do a lot of editing, like resizing, erasing, copy/pasting, etc. as much as I want to flesh out the design of the character.
http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/1889/wipoutline02qj2.gif
Once I have the sketch, I recolor it to a light gray (eraser tool or copy paste). I use the line tool and go over the lines with black. I then get rid of the gray with the eraser (choose gray as left mouse button, and white as the right, and then right-click). Finally, I copy/paste the same image over it twice, but I shift the pasted images one or two pixels from the original, for thick outlines.

Base colors (fill tool).

Black shadowing with the line+fill combo.

I finish it off with a secondary color for the base, mostly with the polygonal tool.
These are the actual sizes of the portraits, but apparently photobucket scaled them down a bit, and gave it an anti-aliased look (which kinda looks better:rofl:)
For the second image:
-Sketch with mouse
-copy sketch
-color with fill/brush
-overlay sketch back on to repair the damage
Scissorman: Nice style.
Wow with tutorial gif assist!
I’m very basic, I just used a paintbrush and let a rip! I’m just not patient, which I need to be…
That was pretty awesome.
Oh, those aren’t my pics, it’s one of my friends’ galleries.
Wow, this thread is still alive? Once I get a new mouse(my current one has the mad shakes), I’ll crank up some new stuff to post here.
first their sweet…then their sour!! super sour gummy bears
