I just got the George Washington wig and red crown for my Palico. He looks like such a faff and I love him for it.

I rocked the Kaiser set for ages on my Palico but in the end I couldnāt resist the little Kirin unicorn outfit. That and the Xeno flower sword in pink. I I just canāt take it off, itās adorable.
I dropped the game for a good three weeks because of time.
Picked it up, got two nergigante gems on my first hunt, then proceeded to get 2 bazel gems on the double tempered bazel quest.
Went on a 2nd bazel quest and go another gem.
Decided to hunt a legiana because why not. Got a legiana gem.

Deviljho hunts are such great places for trolling.
Damn man, Iāve been busy so I havenāt been able to play since Deviljho came outā¦sigh. I should have some free time later today, so I am going to burn through hours on this game.
Lately Iāve been nicknaming some of the monsters in this game, and itās now infected most of my friends who also play this game as well, since we know the monsters based off the nicknames now instead of the official ones.
Kulu-Yaku = Dodo (head of a dodo bird, so pretty self explanatory).
Tzitzi-Ya-Ku = High Beams (His flash blind reminded me of morons who drive during the night coming from the opposite side of the incoming road while blasting their high beams).
Anjanath = Rexy (Homage to the nickname of the Tyrannosaurus Rex in Jurassic Park/World. Iām a huge dinosaur fan and of course Tyrannosaurus Rex is #1 on my list so Iām extremely happy to see a monster that resembles one in MHW! I hope that they make a bigger more powerful incarnation, it would be nice).
Bazelgeuse = B52 Bomber (As the nickname implies, Bazel reminds me of the B52 Bomber airplaneā¦itās massively long wings and length. The fact that it also drops bomb like eggs in the same way that a real B52 Bomber drop bombs in large, heavy payloads, perfect nickname imo).
I know itās not relevant, but itās fun nonetheless.
That nickname for Bazel is a widespread one. I like to call Uragaan Jay Leno.

Fought Kirin for the first time ever!!
Holy Jesus, even for 5* RANK quest this bastard had me on toes.
Wait until you fight a tempered Kirin.
Tempered Teostra, annoying, but not that bad, in fact every other monster that I fought whom was a tempered didnāt feel all that bad.
However Temp Kirin for me personally is the most frustrating monster to fight. I still remember a fight, I had planted a healing pod, and all 3 members gathered to me which was not what I had intendedā¦Temp Kirin throws AOEā¦stuns us all, then throws AOE againā¦Dead.
By far, my most frustrating monster to deal with, and whenever I see a Temp Kirin, I simply refresh and search again for another Temp SOS.

I carted one time against regular Kirin, and that was from a super cheap back to back rapid lighting strikes, which led into dizzy.
This gave the bastard time enough to causally walk up and deliver the finishing thunderbolt!
