The Raths are a classic monster that I’ll never get tired of fighting since I know them so well I guess. Does breaking their wings make them fly less? I honestly never noticed and just brought Flash Pods to every fight.
Breaking it’s wings won’t do shit. All it does is make it’s wings looked tattered and get yourself some talons after the quest is over. I wish breaking it’s wings did more than that as I hate it when it goes on a world tour.
I carry a stack a flashbugs for any mutha fucker that flies. When I’m hunting your ass it’s a god damn no fly zone.

We need more people in this Squad and we need to actually use the Squad lobbies. I don’t even see a point in joining sessions with randoms since we’re more than likely going to send SOSs or join them anyway.

Usually only need 3 or less Flash Pods for the Raths but I damn well bring Flashbugs for Kushala Daora.

Dragon Ammos is our only way of dealing Elderseal to the elders. While it’s not going to be your primary form of damage against them, it’s always handy to have it (and some Dragonfell berries) during the fight.
I’m running a Gnashing Flammenkanone (Anja gem finally dropped last night), and 80-90% of my damage to elders is coming from Normal 3 shots. That said, well placed Dragon shots can still do a ton of damage - you just have to aim them like piercing shots, and remember that they travel really slow. One time, I actually lined a shot up just right so that it went all the way from Xen’s head to a good chunk of its tail.

Not true. Breaking both wings makes it falter and fall when it tries to fly from the ground. It doesn’t completely prevent flight but it greatly delays it

Wing break against Raths actually causes it to pause before taking off; like it’ll startup to take-off, but check itself before doing so.
It’s a brief moment of vulnerability, if anything.

Been screwing around and dodging the Diablos fight, by grinding Great Girros for his outfit, and collecting Dragonite Ore to get the Steel Assault 2 HBG!!
