Haven’t beaten him yet, the 3rd fire wave, the npc I believe says to “run towards Fatalis” or something like that, the comment is barely up for 2 seconds. Many times the team will cart at least all 4 right there. All in all, a frustrating and difficult fight, as I would expect no less.
However I’m wondering if anyone has defeated it yet? I’ve had to play with randos because my personal friends group is stacked, and I’ve gotten to the 10 min mark on 9 different occasions…just to lose.

Yeah I went 0-3 against Fatalis last night before going to bed.
Did 2 runs with the Alatreon DBs and the last with CB. DBs give you the mobility and speed to evade this morherfucker, and CB you can hit the chest area easier and get much more DPS, especially on the head.
Note from the MHW, Dragon and Fire are its weakness!! Yes…fire is a weakness.
Yeah, I fought him last night, and not one single win yet…so yeah. However 3 Star Drag weakness, and 2 Star Fire weakness, while the rest are 1 Star or X.
I tried soloing him a twice, and I got down to the 5 min mark, only to die…sigh…also, I’m using DBs, however hitting his head can be a bloody nightmare with it.
Two situations where hitting the head is very viable, when he does the body splash, and obviously when he does the prolonged fire spread attack, however watch out for the small fire explosion he leaves behind under his head.
Slinger him to the wall only when he’s on all fours, otherwise he’ll only do about 500-800 damage, while on all fours that’s like 2.5k+. Although I’ve heard that you can sling him once on hind legs for the small damage, and he doesn’t rage, so you can sling him instantly again for the full damage since he’ll be on all fours.
No matter the fire resist, this guy just hits like a truck. I’ve gone to Gold Ian Divine 5 to help compensate some of his bs.
Also don’t bring a damn HBG or a slow weapon to this fight, Fatalis has tapped into the Speed Force and hits like he’s still in the old games!! Gunners get one-tapped from him.
He has 66K health solo…so you will run out of sticky & fire ammo!!
He uses Safi DBs altho he said only cause he didnt have Kjarr or Alatreon DBs. He used Kjarr DBs on a dif run and got 21 mins. He mainly attacks the chest
I was watching Cantas stream last night when he attempted this. His first attempts were messing around trying to beat him using Kinsect only before he got serious lol
I defeated him solo. That was my first win against him, after that, I grouped up with an HK buddy of mine and we got a whole new group of super solid friends, since then, I’ve won 4 straight after my first solo win.
