The events and the fact that they’re mainly ahead, w/o any serious hiccups and more importantly for me, the console community isn’t close to the raw sewage that the pc has. Just looking at the steam community is alone for me to merit not ever joining the pc version.
The mods for pc are nice, however I’m not a fan of the the entire UI mod of “seeing monsters health” “whose doing the most damage” nonsense.
That’s me personally, I’m not a fan of that, transmog mods, whatever that’s cool with me, and I have no problems, just the other mods I’m not a fan of.
Outside of that, I have a few friends who do play on PC and they’re enjoying it, however they only play the pc version is because they didn’t have a PS4 to begin with.
Having both versions I find it hard to go back to the PS4 version. I get more than 60 frames on PC and don’t see load screens (SSDs FTW). The HD texture pack is absolutely gorgeous.
The hiccup that toasted CPUs got patched out thankfully. Really that was the only serious issue of the PC version had. Being behind isn’t that big of a deal. The content will be there eventually. It’s not like the SF4 days where PC bros had to wait like a year for a balance patch.

The one thing I don’t use is the one shot mod, per monster mod, and any other extreme stuff.

Its a shame, as the MHW online community has been one the best gaming communities that I have been in!!
Now that the 4chan retards and edgelords are jumping off into this, the community vibe has taken a major nosedive.
I honestly been having a blast playing MH with my friends as of late. Watching my friends rocking monsters i was having a tough time with with HBG stickies and just having the monster run and just shooting the shit is the most relaxing time i’ve had in a long time. Also F Tigrex and Narcagua. They are going to catch these hands when i get geared up enough.
ME… almost spending my entire off day grinding for a certain monster’s part…
…but then remembering that I’m on PC, and “strackers loader” and the shop list mod has been updated!!
I would’ve waited for the PC version back in Vanilla if it was like a month off, but the fact that it was so far off, I ended up buying the PS4 version. I put way too many hours into the console version to double dip on PC, even if 60 FPS and short load times would be very nice. I’m chill with playing Iceborne on PS4 with the homies.
