Ok this one kind of need a paragraph of his own. Each phase seem to have exactly the same amount of hp, so from what I gathered : 18,400 18,550 18,750 18,900 and a fifth value I didnāt find. But what I want to point out is its head. See, you may want to slice off that bit of his forehead so you can carve it for plates and gems. Hereās the thing. The flinch value for his head seem to be around 2,400-2,600 hp, first time you reach it, you break his head once. But if heās anything like most other elder dragons, then youāll probably need to get him around 20-30% of his HP before you can completely break off his head, and by that I mean, you need to get him under 20-30% hp, AND THEN you have to reach the flinch threshold (for the second time in the entire second phase I mean), and thatās when youāll make his forehead fall off. Now Iām not completely 100% certain of it of course, but from the few tests I ran, it really does seem to work this way.
Last piece of advise though : donāt break his head the second time by making him run in a wall, like I did. Unless you want to make his forehead fall out of boundsā¦
Attack is the last thing you should think of adding since it adds a fixed value that tends to be very miniscule in the long run thanks to how much health monsters have in mR (as much as elders, or even Behemoth). Things that build crit are more important since theyāre percentage based and increase your damage much more than just attack.
You should go for WE3, Crit Eye 7, Crit Boost 3, before even thinking of Attack.
EDIT: I posted a pic with my character a few posts back. Something like that is what you should be going for (just take out the Spread Jewel).
Man FUCK LUNASTRA. How in the fuck does that bitch deserve having the highest HP of the Elders. Fucking piece of shit monster. My goal in life is to hunt them to extinction. FUCK LUNASTRA.
Messed up and put Reload Assist instead of Evading Reload 2. So that we be changed, however I cannot wait to test this thing out in the Guiding Lands!!
I havenāt been able to play Icebourne yet⦠Seems like everyone here plays the bowguns. Anybody wanna let me know how switch axe and hammer turned out?
Use switch axe if master rank isnāt challenging enough. Other wise dont torture yourself with Charge Bladeās cousin that was born months premature.
Never touched Bowguns in my life. Basically all weapons got buffed, and the ones that got nerfed were mostly just nerfed cause of universal changes. Hammer didnāt get a lot new but what it got is perfect. It already basically had a perfect moveset, they just added the new moves to the stuff you do most anyway.
SA got a much better fade slash, damage buffs, some other stuff.
