There were a ton of leaks today and while I didn’t read any of them in detail I’ve been told it is VERY likely the full monster count is AT LEAST 30.

The 34.6GB update just came out so go ahead and download it now. It brings all the balance changes, new options, photo mode and basically all of the non-Iceborne-exclusive stuff.

I’ve been told it does include the weapon balance changes, just not the new moves. So CB would have all the MV and element changes but not the new Savage Axe move.

Ended up having to fight Barioth thrice today. One time, I got DCed after we capped it, and for some reason, the game booted me back to base without. Another time, I ended up SOSing into a hunt that I didn’t notice had gone on too long, so it didn’t count the quest as completed. Third time was the charm, though it almost got screwed up because when I used the Farcaster, it sent me tk a camp that was behind the barrier (the one unlocked after you beat Barrioth properly). Luckily, the rest of the group killed it anyway.

Cannot wait to get home from work tonight.

I should be ready to take on Viper Tobi, whom everyone on MHW Discord channels have been dubbing the early wall for hunters.

Before I left, managed to get the new MR Ore Hammer and MR Jargas Blade, plus some pieces of MR armor.
