Just make sure to bring Dung Pods and treat it like the double Bazel quest. Always break off if two of them are there.

Looking at the patch notes, it’s interesting that while cluster bombs were nerfed, sticky ammo got buffed.
This might make RNG Cannon much more useful outside of solo since sticky is the go to when in groups.

That’s how I use it anyway.
Get the K.O. with a mix of sticky 2 & 3, and then “scorch earth” with clusters.

Finally did away with my PS4 gunner profile.
So I’m going to be grinding to get the, RNG Cannon (final form DevilJho HBG), Styxx and Blaze LBG…which means grinding the two monsters I hate dealing with!! 
Plus I’m also doing charm farming to prepare for Iceborne.
Also need to stock up on nourishing extract for mega-demondrugs and mega-armordrugs
Jho HBG isn’t that hard to grind. You don’t need to farm Tempered Jho to get it.
That said, if the HR HZD collab is up, you should do that since the dual Tempered Jho’s are easier to fight than the solo one (as stated above, they have way less life) and you get more chances to carve/cap.
