Post AT Kulve Taroth cooldown hunt from earlier tonight. I was trying out the Taroth Hammer “Sleep” aka one of the top tier hammers in the game, that I just got on PC for the first time.
Apologize for the '06 style quality, this is my first time uploading a full hunt on Youtube.
Took hours to upload due… to “middle of nowhere Texas, CenturyLink” internet.
Not saying to take the dude’s word as gospel or anything, but he sounds pretty persuasive. He even presents a reason ZSD might actually become good in Iceborne.
Not gonna lie, fade morph > wild morph loop is hot.
Edit: ZSD might be good…well that’s unexpected. Well I need my hands on it, but atleast it isn’t all doom and gloom. CB is still gonna be a broken mess though.
Wow so fade slash isn’t complete trash anymore and you actually have a God damn defensive option with that wild swing cancel into slinger shot.THANK GOD. SA might actually not be terrible anymore
I’m still thinking of dropping it for my first build.i don’t have a problem with the lack of mobility and such, im just finding the weapon kind of boring…100 hours later lmao.
My second build uses Charge Blade and I’m still having so much fun with it.
Narga is sooo much fun to hunt. If you get his version of the Great Jagras quest to pop up, make sure you RETURN from quest, not finish it, and that way you can repeatedly hunt him as much as you like.
Like the morons who spam flash pods against elder dragons. Like you get to do it 3-4 times in total as a group and that’s it. If flash pod didnt effect it the 5th time. The fuck makes them think spending a whole minute mindlessly spamming more is gonna do shit???
Way to damn dependent on flash pods. Bring the proper weapon for the match up.
There’s some good news there in Iceborne, they seem to be making it so that the first flash knocksdown but they don’t stay grounded for more than a second. The 2nd flash doesn’t knockdown at all but blinds, and the 3rd does nothing, BUT it’s on some type of cooldown and eventually it’ll work again. So it’ll be usable but people will have to get used to not being able to rely on them as much
Yeah, in more recent time I’ve totally stopped using them at all. I’d rather learn the timings to hit their heads, they all have them. Kushala is the only one who has a nearly unpunishable flying attack set, so I just try to kite it to come down. Only thing I use flash for is to prevent running away.
FOH with that “proper” weapon for whatever match-up BS.
People should use whatever weapon they feel comfortable using. The most people can do is be somewhat considerate of target zones in regards to whatever weapons are present, but otherwise it usually ends up as a free-for-all.
If not, then quest leaders need to screen whoever responds to their SOS, or declare their bias preferences to the whole session prior to their quest posting, IMO.
Yeah, I mean, I’m not against using all your tools, but if that stuff only reason I can beat something in a decent amount of time, I just tend to feel that means I don’t know the fight well. And using traps and other stuff like that or switching to Glutton on a difficult fight just makes me feel like shit. Like I wasted my time lol
All I’m asking, is for a player to use a weapon they are confident they can hit a flying monster with. Instead of true charge slashing air with Great Sword, or just doing fuck all until we score a knockdown. Because that tucker cant do shit without his precious flash pods
