I had a really crazy thing happen to me two days ago. Booted up the PS4 and MHW, and when I select to start the game, it didn’t go to the usual character selection screen of my two characters, but instead simply kept going into the Intro Cut instead leading into the creation of a character.
So I was like “wtf?!” and I rebooted my PS4 again…samething happened, so ultimately I had to use the backup online save to restore my MHW.
This meant that I lost all of my Ciri Layered Set and the Mutagen drops, in which case even with the numerous finishes against A. Leshen, I cannot seem to no longer get anymore.
It is beyond frustrating that I lost literally like two days worth of farming, however I guess it beats completely losing my save entirely.
No idea how that happened, since I did nothing of the sort, but just a heads up to folks that they should always make a backup save just in case.

On both my PS4 and PC accounts, I had found a lot good shit from previous and current Kulve raids. Unfortunately there was more trash Rarity 6 & even 7 stuff that I had collected.
Finally booted this back up and did the Witcher quest. That Leshen has obnoxious amounts of health, and it sounds like i have to beat the ainchent version to make the geral and ciri armor sets?
Ancient is for Geralt layered, Ciri full set and Ciri layered, Ciri’s DBs and the last upgrade for Geralt’s SnS. Ancient Leshen is a real tribulation, not quite as hard as Extreme Behemoth but up there because of how long the fight takes lol

That fucking online 2-bar netcode M.Bison level of teleporting spam during stage 4 gave me several panic attacks.

Me personally, I’m really saddened by this. The enjoyment of Leshen was the very fact that he was doing Dictator Teleports all over the place as if he’d been watching the SF2:AM which really made him an imposing monster in the Final Stages that we hadn’t seen since the days of Ext. Behe.
Monsters like this should really be left alone because the leniency of MHW is already large enough as it is. Defeating A. Leshen felt extremely satisfying and as one who had quite a bit of failures against this individual, I’m really sad to hear about this nerf.
This nerf is going to make a huge difference in terms of success simply due to the fact that from my own personal experience, most of the time that the teams I’d run randomly with, we’d usually failure at the Final Stage, which is really where this patch nerfs A. Leshen.
It won’t really be as fun anymore for me personally due to this, and I’m just glad that I was able to successfully defeat it enough times already (literally had to do it again due to the save corruption I stated days ago) to obtain the items required in order to craft the Witcher items/gears, prior to Pre-Nerf.
It’s like fighting CE. Dictator, then you’re given HF. Dictator afterwards…
