Have to admit that Usman’s faster than expected, but Masvidal has nothing much to worry about yet. This fight might come down to Usman’s chin, if it can hold up.
I think it comes down to Masvidal’s gas tank.
Usman has a granite chin, I think we can confirm this at this point. It will come down to Masvidal’s cardio… but Usman just might stop him (possibly even standing) before that point. Masvidal isn’t looking too comfortable right now.
Not the most exciting thing, but Usman just shut Masvidal down completely from start to finish.
Masvidal did look good in the first round.
Too short lived.
Just like his UFC 4 cover art hype. Man came in with all that hype to get neutralized.
Ufc game curse continues
Masvidal better to stick to Diaz. If he fights Colby, he’ll do the exact same thing to him.
Filthy casual college friend trying to say max won 4-1 and it was Highway robbery.
Now I gotta explain how it was close and max let a whole ass hobbit take him down 3x and was more accurate in strikes.
Like I like max but it was close again and it’s really how you saw round 3. If he said it was close and was 3-2 I’d be OK.
But screaming robbery and trying to claim 4-1 is fuckin stupid.
I don’t care if max got up quickly… If you let frodo baggins grab a hold of you and take you down more than once you have a problem.
Yeah watching the fight live. I knew it was coming down to how round 3 was scored. 1 & 2 where clearly Max and 4 & 5 were clearly for Volkanovski. I would have had no problem either way. Fight was razor close no matter who was given the nod, they would have been deserving IMO.
Lets not forget that someone bet 200k on masvidal beating Usman.
Yeah I don’t think we have to worry about that guy anymore…
What did he answer to Cejudo?
Dana basically telling Paige to kick rocks…
How?
I was rolling at some people mad that people were calling Usman boring. (and let’s face it, as effective as he was, it wasn’t the most exciting fight to watch.)
GSP was outright hated by a lot of people. I’m a filthy casual, so I don’t really remember whether or not he was all about wrestling or Jiu-Jitsu, but man, people hated watching him do it.
It’s well known most people like high-octane striking fights, so it’s really not surprising.
Dana telling VanZant to hop on a van and gtfo is funny, but let’s be real, he’s right. If you’re asking for more cash, you gotta deliver.
Funbags got her arm snatched with the quickness.
It was pretty obvious. GSP was probably the most dominant champ in the UFC’s history in his prime. He went through a multi year period of winning all of his fights 50-45 on all three judges scorecards. He wasn’t just winning he was dominant to a level not often seen. It got to the point that some people started hating GSP because he was so dominant.
@Volt GSP did everything. He started his career as karate based striker. Then he became once of the best wrestlers in MMA. While casuals hated GSP, I loved watching the dude. He’d fight a dominant wrestler an out wrestler them. He’d out strike a great striker. Most fighters win by attacking their opponents weaknesses not GSP. It was great, at least for me, to watch. I never understood Dana’s hatred for the dude. He was the perfect champion to have to promote the UFC to the mainstream more importantly, he was a consistent, and huge draw. He PPV numbers at the time were comparable.
