With just about anything, it’s not what you teach them, it’s how you teach them.

From what I see in the vid, my guess is the kid’s coach/dad is training the kid well, but he and probably all the adults around the kid are enabling the kid’s cocky behavior because it’s cute or funny. It would be interesting to see this kid in 12 years, to see if he really does become an asshole or if the adults clamp down on him when they tire of dealing with a mouthy 8-year old.
