Sprained my thumb last friday. It got hella swollen and now my hand is purple. This ever happen to you guys? How long until I can return? I plan to tape it up nice and tight so that should help. I was reading that you should let heal it 4-6 weeks but I want to compete in a tournament so fuck all that weak noise.
Rogan is never going back into fighting because he’s a stand-up comedian. He’s been doing that for 20+ years because he just flat out enjoys it more. He quit fighting in Tae Kwon Do tournaments because of the intense migraines he would get, so he became an instructor. Then he quit being a Tae Kwon Do instructor at Boston University to pursue comedy and he never looked back.
He said on a recent podcast that his personality doesn’t allow him to half ass anything, so if he can’t put 100% into something, he just quits. That’s why he no longer instructs or plays video games (He used to be addicted to Quake 3 Arena). All he does now is attend Jui Jitsu class 3 times a week during the day, stand-up at night, and UFC commentary twice a month.
Ok so all the stream sites I’m used to getting events from just got bodied by Homeland Security or something. Where the fuck am I gonna watch UFC this weekend? Super Bowl I can always go out for but everyone I know works Saturday nights now.
