Basing that on the fact that I don’t travel as much as I would like. Honestly it’s a few ppl that I know if they could travel how they like ( from the MW) would personally put it on Chi in 3s. I think they know who I’m talking about. Bottom line I don’t think you can really say that Chi runs it because I’m sure that there’s somebody out and around that could do take them in a game in the MW. Jadakiss said it in a rap once “why I know a dude up like Jordan that didn’t get that break”? The same applies here. I know a few cats that could take Chi including myself. also i still say Floe is the best 3s player in Chi/Midwest.

Floe over Juicy…hmmm I don’t know. I personally think Juicy just from playing both of them (floe I haven’t played since TS5 I think). So I’m only speaking from that honestly I don’t see what floe does that makes him so impressive honestly. Not saying he doesn’t know how to play, but I think he can be better. I think in a 1st to 5 between floe & Juicy, Juicy should take that. If not then damn is all I got to say. Sorry if anyone feels dissed not trying to, but I think it’s time for ppl to grow up about that whole “o he dissin’ me” It’s fuckin Street fighter not the NBA or NFL. Plus for the MW to be top in the nation and considered a force in anything this type of stuff needs to be brought up and understood, because I thought Juicy ran Chi. What I heard anyway. From what i know Ari dominated chi in most all games back in the day. George doesnt even really take 3s as serious anymore as for as in concerned (from what hes kinda told me and from when ive played him). Nowadays id say George runs chi cause Ari doesnt play as much anymore (im not 100% on this though).
I don know many who can run with chitown right now in GG either.
I see…I’m thinking of trying to get a group together and maybe coming out to that Champaign tourney your throwing. I wanted to run my team up to seasons beatings though. We’ll see. I don’t either but I want to see what dial can do against them. I thought David was holding GG down in the MW though?

EDIT: Wtf are these credit things srk has now? As for GG in midwest, acctauly george has prooven himself to be the best in slash at least going by tournies. Granted I still will awlays consider me kenji and drew the best GG players in america ever. But for slash george won the most tournies so he should be considerd the best shrug. Cue was winning the last couple months of reload to the few few months of slash that I recall then george won most the tournies… No idea what s going on in AC as well I cant really enter tournies easily anymore. shruggggggg

Um didn’t you and Humbag play at MWC and had a pretty close match? I guess winning against him once 2/3 means you can beat the shit out of him. I’ve played him enough to know he’s a solid player, so that’s just retarded to say basically he sucks; and he travels a decent amount, which is the only way to come up in fighting games.
This is what you guys don’t understand – you can’t play around in the 3s lab and think you’re going to conquer the world. You have to travel to the best people, play the best people, and when you start BEATING the best people, then you can know where you are. And obviously in the Midwest that would be Chicago/NE and prob us in Cle secondly, based on tourneys and experience.
I mean that sucks if you can’t travel much, but it doesn’t make sense to say “I can hang with X and Y and Z established players” when you don’t play anyone outside of your local scene. It’s like old mall scrubs thinking they can match anyone, just because in their little hamlet they beast. I’m decent, but I’ve played enough people in the MW and the country to know where I stand overall in 3s.

im trying to think of a way to make this post as humble as possible…but straight up 100% no where in the mw outside of ne rarely (ghaelons good too) would ever even knock me or george into losers in a tourny…i play this game like…twice a year and still get 3rd at majors…also about me and george…george dominates hella games atm and rapes me in like everything…but 3s results are usually the same for the past year if i can remember correctly with me winning…he doesnt even really take 3s seriously just like i dont take anything seriously anymore but we still win cuz 3s is just one of those games you remember how to play without even playing…so ya…unbacked claims from random michigans (by random i mean ive never heard of you and you arnt vdo who i think is by far mi’s best all around player dunno if he plays 3s) are wack…the end!

I can see this thread is about to turn into a big mess real fast (although the MW region could use
some more hype). I’m going to let you all know right now Juicy and floe, whom don’t even play 3s
right now, have bested all of the local chi-town 3s talent in tourneys on multiple occasions. I’m
also going to say that the rest of the Illinois 3s players- (shaddy, Part2, Darmonde, Tony D,
Omega X, Me, Whomever else I’m missing) don’t play the game as much as we would like too.
Which leaves me with Illinois main problem as to why we don’t play on these two players level
we don’t play enough. I mean read the CAD thread that place is already going through its
nickel city phase on being a complete dead zone (no one shows up to gatherings). So here is
what I suggest a state wide regional rivalry needs to be instated to generate
enough morale/hype to become the best. We take all the best players from each
region and separate them. Then build a scene around each of the regions. Build a
shit load of hype like a high school football game level hype. Then throw one big
ass tourney to see how much people have leveled up then. Yeah this idea is
kinda cheesy but its better then nothing and also its better then what is going on
in the rest of Illinois scene right now out side of UIUC and Nickles/CAD. Peace Out
