ciel makes no sense. most versitle ex in the game, pretty much the only character with a cross up, the only one who can empty cancel into shield, and yet the japorknees still think she’s got nothin worth noting for damage (which I agree with, regardless of her ‘mixups’).

Len is hard though, it doesn’t seem like 214 after knockdown gives you much advantage on wake ( a cat is fine too )…can anyone explain what 214A cat does? it kind of seems to do absolutely nothing. o_o;

Everyone can empty cancel 5/2/789 A into shield. Other characters (Miyako/Nero/Arcs) also have jumping crossups though it’s useless as explained here.

I forget if 214a/b gives you different cats or not but here’s what they do.
Black: slow, hits once, best CV setup material!
White: moving wall, will push the opponent in the direction it’s going
tabby: fast, hits once
Every other color is useless.

214a : whitey (not to be confused w/ “the man”) = pushes opponent until it vanishes. If you manage to sandwich the player (for some cat-on-cat action), you can rack up some free damage off of repeated 2A’s. looks funny.
OR
blacky (no jokes here plz) = slow moving cat that sweeps (untechable).
214b : goldie (i like goldie, dammit) = fast moving cat (travels full stage?) that launches opponent. Unairtechable

brownie (aka brown monster of DOOM and RAGE) = …does nothing

yea after i first played the game for an hour… ciel just came naturally for some reason… but we’ve only hung out once since the tourney so don’t think i actually play against humans to get better…
