The Melty Blood : Act Cadenza (PS2) thread~

I will ;p.

So the new stages are only for the story mode and are unselectable? That kinda sucks. :frowning:

^We’ll see.

Well judging by what has already been said, it kinda makes sense because all the screenshots of the new stages on the official website were taken from arcade/story mode. I really do hope it’s not limited to that. :\

Wow! thanks a lot for the info. It really helped since this is the only place I know to come to if I have a question Altough I thought no one was ever going to answer me.

@h-f blade
im sure it wont be limited to story once its released for ps2

If that’s the case then I’m not really worried but I’d like to be able to see these new stages and their bgms ahead of time. :frowning:

I’ve played on both stages, but I couldn’t really hear the music that well. Too loud.

As for how they look like…someone already posted them on Dloop. Plus I think it’s on the arcade game’s website.

Well I’ve seen the screenshots but I actually wanted to see them in matches. Last time I remember there’s supposed to be a new version of Arc’s stage too.

I don’t know. I need to play against actual people to know for sure. Now that the game is set to 75 cents, I don’t think anyone is willing to versus me in a new game.

That new Arc stage is maybe Warc’s? If you get to the last stage without losing a game, you get to fight her on that stage.

What, they made the game 75 cents? It was 50 cents on Monday. LOL

Oh well, I think that game has to earn its keep first since the GD-Rom was pretty pricey if you think about it.

But I’m sure it’ll go back down to 50 cents if lots of people play, I mean look at Seed Destiny II that was 2 bucks when it started, now it’s 1 buck, and Super DBZ was either a buck or 75 cents and it’s now 50 cents.

Anyway the game now set to 75 cents would explain why it was off yesterday morning, I asked the arcade manager why it was off and he said they haven’t “set it up” yet, ok so that says it all.

LOL that’s a good one.

Yeah that’s true though. It is brand new, but I still think it’s lame to play 75 cents to play against the computer. I don’t care much if it was a “new” version.

50 cents for SDBZ would be cool if you didn’t need a card to play that game. You know that game is the next one to get axed. -_-

Actually I just meant a new game in general for CHQ, not just a “new version”, and believe or not, people actually play Super DBZ still. lol

But if they replace it with anything, it better be Arcana Heart or I guess in the Summer, KMGP2!!! XD

And Soul Calibur 3 AE got moved to a Blast City cab that used to house a Mame board.

Heh, this thread is now the official CHQ thread.

Did you friend ever try the game yet? lol I’m interested to hear.

Yeah though. KMGP2 or bust for summer!

No it’s not.

>:|!!

To further derail this topic: Is that Hisui and Kohaku smoking a bowl in your avatar now Chibi?

That must be some goooooooood shit.

I think it’s just a cig, but a blunt sounds cooler, I think I’ll edit that in somehow.

Also I want to come up to TGA again, hurry up and plan another ranbat (in Feburary)!

Oh my friend went there when they were setting up the Naomi-setup, so he hasn’t tried it yet. Anyway I played today, tried out Nrvnsqr Chaos or whatever, I’ll just call him Nero Chaos, he’s about alright.

Was also wondering, are the characters just limited to 3 moves each?

No. Each character has three standard normals in the standing, crouching, and jumping positions (MB does not differentiate between close and far normals or jumping straight and jumping forward/back). On top of that, most characters have either some command normals or modifiable normals by holding the button down for a period of time (trading speed for some other property, like changing the hitlevel or becoming unblockable altogether).

So each character averages ~12 normals, slightly lower than a typical KoF game. It is not as limiting as it sounds, since you can chain normals into whatever during blockstrings for various purposes.

I wish I could go to mwc but unfortunately I have no money, transportation, or time. :frowning:
