I don’t see why you should even bother with version A, especially if you’re new to the series. The latest version out now is B, not A. The arcades catch up with the console game owners, not the other way around. They’re going that extra step to make sure it’s universal, so play what they want you to already. It’s pointless to even bother learning A at all. Hell, crude as it may be, it’s flat out stupid.
;p
I’m liking the new movement after B blood ring with Warc alot, and the Satsuki loop is easier on my sorry ass too.
i think some people are still skeptical about version b being reverse ported, but since i’m the one that brought it up here about 2 weeks ago i’ll post a proof:
in the last entry from personal blog of narita, one of the developers at circle fransu pan (french bread), he makes mention about version b being ported to the arcades. he does not state as to when this will happen, except that they will try to do it soon as possible.
so yea that’s the source of buzz.
i’m personally not going to bother with version a whatsoever.
i dunno. i haven’t downloaded the game and my copy is somewhere in canada right now. all i can do is read bunch of stuff online. which doesn’t really help at all either since i’ve never played act cadenza anyway.
i have around 50 aoko match vids on my hdd though… if anybody cares.
and here are some aoko strat sites, all in japanese:
ttp://sennsei.exblog.jp/ <— very good site, complete with a discussion bbs
ttp://white.ap.teacup.com/applet/9174/21/trackback
ttp://tukigakure.sakura.ne.jp/aoko.html
maybe i will just translate/steal bunch of those and post some of them if they are still useful enough in version b. this would surely make people happy since many are interested in playing aoko so far, i presume? but i’m pretty reluctant right now since from what i’ve been reading on different boards she’s been tweaked quite a bit.
so yea, that’s what i’m only good for right now. reading japanese. :wasted:
Yeah, I don’t see why anyone should bother starting off with version A when B is the latest version and it’s readily available. If you play version B right now you’re already up to speed. That’s what I’m going to do once I finally play it.
Thanks to all for the information. So if I get it correctly somebody has to connect to my ex shield to do a last arc? Does it come out by itself or do I have to do a input after someone hit the ex shield?
I’m Playing B for sure, cause I’m new to the game. But I would like to know if the game is standerd on B or A?
And right now I’m gonna play the game some more and Spread that Love in the Netherland cause I’m prolly the first one to play it :lovin:
I don’t have a problem with my backup copy, and I assume chibi isn’t having problems with his due to him not saying anything about it. We both use swap magic, so its probably a bad copy of the game.
I just want to make sure, but arcade mode is version A, and original mode is version B, correct?
If i remember correctly, ver A was the update the the original AC which corrected some things like this.
Anyway, has somebody succeed in unlocking Neco Arc and so knows what is required?
I read that on dustloop, normally i’m lazzy to do that kind of things and just copy a save from someone but this time i’ll have to do it myself because no one here plays MB
Just played it some more and it’s amazing. The difference between the characters (tiers) is pretty high imo. And the shielding system is giving it the same in dept possibilities as 3S. Great SHITTT!
The game is pretty easy to get in to but goes to depts I’ll prolly not even gonna see. I also noticed that the CPU on hardest isn’t really forgiving ^^. So against pro’s the whole game prolly isn’t that forgiven, better practise.
I practised with a girl, red hair and crazy fire like moves. Like her ALOT. The same character is in the game with Black hair…(some more characters seem to be build this way)…what’s up with that?
Game rules but it sucks that I’m prolly the ONLY one in a whole country who’s playing it right now!!! *insert cursing!
version a was the initial retuning. it’s what people in japan have been playing for more than a year now.
i’m checking online if anybody knows of specific set of requirements to unlock neco arc. lots of people were saying they just had to beat arcade mode with everybody, so that’s what i posted but i guess that wasn’t it. :x
anyhow, i can’t wait to go home and play it myself.
