Does anyone know if Tohno Shiki is better then Nanayo shiki or vice-versa ? Also does anyone have combo vids of shiki also because I just got this game and he seems to be a fun charecter.

well… in version a shiki tohno was considered to be better than nanaya. tohno got somewhat nerfed in ver b, but still seems like a very strong character. both shikis are pretty solid in respect to rest of the cast. although they are both pretty generic and boring as well (entirely my opinion).

Generic maybe, but boring is a matter of personal opinion. I like Nanaya, he’s cool.
there’s no point in doing 236c after 5c. the move’s not even comboable afterwards, and that would just be a waste of circuit since you can get more damage (as well knockdown) from the standard air combo option.
if you really want to burn circuit, his show combo in the corner is xx, 2b, 2c, 214b, 214b, 2b, 236a, 623c, 2b, 5b > jb, jc > jb, jc > throw.

I like Nanaya better too. He looks a lot less nerdy and has a cooler voice. I’m not exactly sure what most people think of Nanaya in ver.b compared to ver.A. I personally think the changes make him an overall better character. Less recovery on some moves and he got a bit of a stamina increase. Nanaya isn’t so reliant on specials like his counterpart so he strictly reliant upon his normals for his pressure game. I think I’ll make him my third string character so that way I can focus more on my other characters though.
With ciel, I remember trying to do 2a4a5c5c xx shield, dash > combo, but I couldn’t get anything to reliably connect. Is that combo in the vid character specific, or is it just tight timing?

Seriously though, he says the sequence is possible /without/ the shield cancel (in ver.A or FT) – it’s just an obscenely tight link. It’s definately doable on everyone.
Does anyone know if the original AC Arcade announcer is unlockable? And if so, which one is it? I can’t read kanji. :sad:
AFAIK, ver.B announcer is the same as ver.A only slightly different. As for the rest of them, I believe they’re in this order:
- Arcueid
- Ciel
- Akiha
- Hisui
- Kohaku
- Miyako
- Sion
- Satsuki
- Aoko
