Warc got a jump B nerf which was sorely needed. Some of her clash frames have been changed or removed, same with some of her super armor, and her damage is overall lower.

She doesn’t play any differently than she did in version A they just tried to tweak what made her so good a little.

What time Turbo? I got to test some prelim Warc, Akiha, Houma, Aoko, Sion and V. Sion and other shit in MBAC tomorrow anyways.

Funny how I JUST read about her Jump B being damn good in the others but nothing yet to signify how they have nerfed it in AC…now I know they have…

I read that Warcs close St. b or St.b poke is an overhead…is this true? If so I been working on a sick relaunch I just read about and got it down…but once again you cant make the opponent crouch (GAY) in options.

You can make them crouch, just not crouch and guard at the same time. In which case you’ll have to test it via second controller. =\

Warc’s stand B is an overhead when charged (it also gain quite a lot of armor frames), and it makes the opponent fall down if he got hit crouched.

The damage tone down is not so much actually, it’s only the second hit of jB that goes from 600 to 400, and with chaling it doesn’t make a big difference, for exemple the basic BnB now does 3538 on Shiki instead of 3685 (without critcials).
The other damage nerf is more noticeable, her throw goes from 1500 to 1200 and the fact that it wasn’t affected by the character damage modifier has been corrected. She also got a 50% scaling on j214B but that’s not everyday you combo out of this.
Like you said the jB was nerfed with the removal of clash frames, i think it’s still good, just not godly stupid as it was.
Her 3C isn’t cancelable anymore, but it got more armor frames and knockdowns, you can OTG afterwards into 623C and a nice combo if you’re close to the wall.
For the last changes, she can super cancel 623A and 236B and best thing of all she can move in the air after j214B.

Well even if i said we have to wait to see how it works out, i don’t see her going lower than A, she still looks very good.

Just got into Melty blood, recently i got melty blood: react final tuned for the PC.

Anyone know the actual storyline behind it, and individal bios on these characters? i’ve tried searching google can’t find anything on it.

I’m not exactly sure about the Melty Blood storyline but the majority of the characters are from Shingetsutan Tsukhime so you should try searching for that instead. You’re more than likely to find character information using that search criteria.

I find his repeated j.C combos to be mundane and repetitive. Not exactly exciting to watch in my book. :tdown: But if he fits your playstyle, then by all means, use him.

nero’s air combo isn’t that bad.

his typical bnb with 4 jc’s actually doesn’t deal whole a lot of damage, and doesn’t guarantee the player a air throw either (although ex elk is a pretty good pressure option). and it’s fairly timing intensive if you want to maximize damage. it may look dumb, but there are definitely much easier bnb’s in the game.

that being said, i think nanaya’s xx, 2c, [214b]x2, 2b, 5b, air combo in the corner is pretty stupid. it’s not that hard to pull off (except it seems to be impossible on kouma for whatever reason), and deals shit load of damage. but keep in mind that i hate both shikis. :rolleyes:

Len was in tsukihime also Orka. She was in one of the vomit inducing opening scenes, where she appeared to give shiki a ‘dream sequence’.

Nero is the master of being Lazy. Insane defense (Tied for second best in the game iirc). Way too many anti airs that lead into damage, snake glitch combined with deers makes his rushdown not very mixupy but hard to counterpoke out of, 214C is a insane tech punish that ends rounds, his crouch A is pretty damn hard to shield and counter, etc etc. He’s a really good beginner character and he has some merits in advanced/expert play though he’s way too fucking tall.

Nanaya’s 214B loop is impossible against Kouma; for whatever reason Nanaya has less frame advantage against Kouma from that move, thus rendering the loop impossible.

hmmm, thats funny because i play that very same character and i made that same exact comparison when i saw my very 1st aoko match about a yr ago. i compared her to venom too (who was the char i was interested in at the time).

Yeah Im loving her I won’t stop till I master her…I am having a problem though comboing EX’s in her 6AB and I tried the negative egde as you said earlier but still no avail.
