Just got finished watching the vid and there’s plenty of useful information. There were some things that I already knew about but others I was unaware of. Invulnerable neutral jump upon landing? Sweet! I had a feeling the 4B would be more useful now since it now recovers insanely fast.

Neutral super jumps that go forward. This game sucks.
That is not a neutral superjump (there are no neutral superjumps in Melty Blood). That happens when Hisui does an empty superjump; ikusat was too busy sniffing paint thinner (out of his shiny and new HisuKoha glass) to get it right.
I know, I was just being sarcastic. Chibi was trying to tell me about it, and i’m like, wtf how do you superjump with 5?
I didn’t know about the j. bb trap. Is there any way to combo after it that would keep you in the right spot to punish any techs? If you can punish neutral/forward with a combo that keeps you in that spot, as well as covering the no tech, then the only way out would be to take a combo from teching out of the corner. I’m working on something similar with Ciel, only it leads into her otg loop that I can’t do(T.T) on no tech.
So there was like 5 people there that KNEW how to play supposedly, and like 15 more that knew about the game that had no idea how to play.
Which basically left me and Dippy to go against each other for a $4 pot, haha. First to 5. I WON, GO ME, YAY.
In all honestly Dippy’s a cool guy whose Sacchin is annoying as hell and who can play GG better than I can on an actual arcade set up. Hell he plays Lili in DR too.
Our matches were pretty ugly, I was runing on like two hours of sleep and 5 1/2 hour drive to get to fucking TGA. I abused EX dust to hell. Still it was fun, and hopefully we get more people next time.

Do not try this at home. There’s some bizarre shit, from the amusing (Hisuidoken double crossing up, causing myself to get hit but also causing Chibi to whiff the followup) to the just plain sad (I bara into 214B, it hits, and I miss the followup). More commentary forthcoming (I’m typing it up right now hurr). For whatever reason, Satsuki’s loop is needlessly hard to do against Hisui.
The TV was lagging by about one frame (which I didn’t pick up because I was testing the latency by playing Beatmania… but that was the old IIDX monitor, so I had mentally adjusted to that set long ago. Hurr.), which explains some of the weirdness. The rest of it is just the two of us sucking at life.
At least we had just as many people as KoF:XI did. :V
Fake edit: Heh, all of the Tekken players are trying to get me to switch from Lili to… someone else. She makes Kouma look subtle. It’ll probably be Asuka; I can probably adjust to her changes in DR fairly quickly. And my GGXX/ game is just me spamming tatamis with Baiken and hoping people do something stupid. It worked until I ran into that random Johnny player who took second, he was having none of that shit (I think I came in 7th or somemething stupid… sadness).
Not bad for 2 hours of sleep. 
Last time I went to a tourney of any kind I got no sleep at all because we were practicing all night. x_X
Well I went to a friend’s house in NYC first on Friday, and we were planning on leaving at 6 am Saturday morning.
Of course being the idiots that we were, we went to sleep at like 3am and then WOKE UP at 6, and didn’t end up leaving until 7 - 7:30. I think at one point I was almost sleep walking when I finally got there, but hell it was worth it.
Yeah, there’s some OBVIOUS HORRIBLE STUPID SHIT in those videos. Not doing Hisui’s tech punish in the corner, abusing the hell out of 5c from full screen, bothering to fight Satsuki air to air at all, just some really stupid shit. At that point in the vids though, I thought we were done with the tournament? That’s probably why I didn’t take it as seriously but whatever.
And it’s obvious that I STILL CANT DO HISUI’S GOD DAMN AC. It’s so fucking IMPOSSIBLE.

Haha I remember at the start of match 6 you jumped across the screen 3 times in a row back and forth using j.B,B. And yes, less 5C from fullscreen will do you more good. As for the AC, just keep at it I guess. =\ You’re cutting it short at just the right spot so you at least get the air throw in.
Yeah at that point we were pretty much just fucking around.
