Its called random, buddy. The 236A (not B) you shielded in the first match was pure sack 'o luck and you know it. Who’s to say that i wouldnt have done a 421B in that situation (which has more startup and the same starting animation), resulting in you not only you missing the shield but giving me a combo follow up afterward =). Fishing for the LA in that round was worthless for so many reasons e.g. you didnt get much life back, it didnt do nearly as much damage as it should have (for reasons unknown =p) and as metioned before, opening your face up with a combo was a possiblity. It all translates to…Luuuuuck Saaaaaack .

Bara superjump escapes Ciel ground knives. A few hits hit you as antiair then you get to tech out and free punish. It escapes Kohaku meaty EX Cactus (bara on the meaty hit) takes away priority from warakia 5C, and a slew of other stuff.
So, I look on YouTube for bara cancel videos and I read the ikusat MBAC wiki again and again for the how-to… but how important is it? If you play the game straight with AB air dashing, BNB combos and good defense, are bara cancelers going to bust my game? Especially if I am Satsuki? And except maybe an 41236D~C, would bara canceling as Satsuki even be worthwhile? 214C will wallslam but I won’t necessarily be able to give chase except maybe a superjump.C.
Dude, bara canceling with Satsuki and Kouma are like a pretty big part of their game.
I mean, to be truthful it’s not 100% necessary, and you don’t see the Japanese doing it alot because they always change up their poking strings, but if some tard you face keeps doing 2.a x 5,000,000, or ciel knives up the ass, well then it’s time you made them pay for it.
It’s more like it’s there if you need it, but you can do fine without it. It just makes Satsuki and Kouma (especially Kouma) alot more fucking annoying and dangerous to fight against. Hisui became less of a bother thanks to bara cancels, as her standing 5.C is just screaming to bara-'d by much anything you want to throw at her.

mbac sign ups will now take place sunday at 3 pm and the actual tournament at 4 pm. so if some of you out-of-staters are gonna be there for mb, expect to stay late on sunday.
anyhow, i look forward to seeing whoever is coming this weekend. i probably won’t be playing games tonight, but will show up at nickel city on saturday around slash begins.

it’s just been brought to my attention that many people didn’t know that mbac was moved to sunday several weeks ago. sorry, but i had no part to do with the scheduling itself or the updating so can’t do anything about it. there is a possibility that we could try to run it saturday but i have no guarantee at the moment. anybody with inquiries should try to get in contact with juicy g.
mb has been on sunday for a while… ill talk to george about the schedule. but as far as i know mb signups are at noon on sunday and tourney starts at 1pm on sunday.
