I always do jH::S after the sommersault and then do two jump kick loops (jMMH::S).
The key is to leave a big as gap between the jH and jS as possible.

On some characters and especially online my first loop after the FC H, j. HS is
j LMHS, then j MMHS.
Use j.MHS instead of j.HS on Morrigan (still possible to do j.HS, but hard) and Iron Man (I believe it is impossible to do j.HS and continue combo). Just make sure to delay H and S as long as you can, it is an easy combo with universal timing on the rest of the cast.

I like how she still has that fuckugly thing on her chest. And by like I of course mean the exact opposite. Was really hoping for STARS Jill, though. At least they got the right hair
Well they use that thing for alot of the animations (like Taunt and Mad Beast) so they couldn’t get rid of it.
That’s true. Didn’t stop Capcom from giving Ibuki an invisible mask though.

Anyone else notice her M command throw has less recovery so its easy to combo off of in the corner. Also her H command throw seems to have more range. And other than her otg having a quicker start up i dont see much different from vanilla

I don’t normally post in the Jill forum, but I’ve been in a bit of an identity crisis since UMvC3 came out. My original team doesn’t play like it used to… (CapA, Ryu, Deadpool)
I’ve been trying out Jill (I have the guide), and she seems like a lot of work, but I like her style. The guide glances over the fact that her Somersault assist used as a cross-over counter may be once of the best in the game. Can this be used as sorta of a XFC to cancel block stun guarantee (parry, so to speak)?
Can the opponent do anything to avoid this? Seems like a free 450k dmg minimum for one meter.
It takes like 30+ frames for Jill to come out giving the opponent plenty of time to block. However if like to do Cs in their block strings then Jill will more than likely just hit them for free combos.
How do you actually land hits with somersault outside of combos? Its too slow to be used like a shoryuken. Am I limited to only using it on incoming characters?
It’s really good for frame traps and AA.
How would you use it as a frame trap?
Um… Do a move, feral cancel, wait a tic, and flash kick…
Oh, feral B is also good for this, just make sure it’s a situations where the feral cancel gives you a decent SD, like after 5C or 4C.
