I’m hearing talk that even though SE owners get Shuma and Jill, neither are actually playable until March 6th? Is this true?
March 6th? Where did you get that info? The official statement was 4 weeks after the release of the game, so basically a month. The back of the manual in the IGN’s “unboxing of the SE” video says March 15th too.

I guess that’s what Seth meant by Jill possibly being the fastest character in the game.

Jill’s health is 850,000. Also checked to see if you can do multiple dashes in a row during Feral Crouch/Mad Beast, couldn’t find anything about that. Also says she has some sort of infinite. I dunno if that means an “actual” infinite or just a loop (I’m thinking the latter).
I don’t think anyone truly has infinites in this game. But thanks for the HP Jocelot! That’s on par with Mags and Chun-Li.
lol i knew it, when i saw the latest post was from ultimashadow i knew it was gonna be HP related. Although I thought it would be you not jocelot bringing the new about how much health she has.

Also the info about Jill having a loop (there are indeed no infinites) actually says a lot more than you might have expected. Loop means one of two things (or both): either Jill’s attacks deal insane hitstun (unlikely, because fast=low hitstun, unless you are Dark Phoenix), or they recover super fast (highly likely). After playning this game for a few days I’ve already found several loops, and I constantly deal with hitstun scaling. Let’s say Trish doesn’t have many long combos (not that she needs to to be one of the best in the game), because of long recovery on her moves. I tried doing basic :l:,,:h:,:s:,
,
,:h:,:s:,Weskers OTG assist, :h:, :s:, for a relaunch, but if I try adding
,
,:h:, Maximum Voltage in the air the opponent will recover after second
, I should be doing
, :h:, Maximum voltage instead. A similar slightly longer combo (add one command normal to ground series) with Chris will work just fine, because of higher hitstun on his moves.
A little more info for you guys:
According to the guide, she essentially has 3 loops, two infinitely, the other would be infinite but requires her level 3.

Repeats infinitely into itself after you land a standing :snkc:
- :qcf::uf:+:snkc:
Repeats infinitely into itself in the corner. Is a 1 Frame link.
- You can combo into her level 3, “Mad Beast”
During “Mad Beast”, :qcf:+:snka: xx :qcf:+:snkb: can be repeated until time expires.
There’s also a note in the guide that says that this is based off an early version of Jill and since she is DLC and won’t be out for a month, things are subject to change.
Also during Feral Crouch/Mad Beast, she can teleport in any direction. She seems silly (read: broken) from what they’re saying in the guide.
Wow, and they said there would be no infinites in the game. Jill broke the game mechanics!
I can only hope this stuff is left intact when she is released. :3
