It was shown on the live stream, and the command list said something like “on certain attacks only”. Same was said for cammy’s counter.

Guys, when looking at the Fei match, I swear Fei used roundhouse chicken wing because it covered the distance of it, but it had the fast startup again?
It’s like they don’t want him to be good. The one time Sirlin made him good in STHD he pussed out and undid it. Meanwhile sagat and ryu balrog and rufus are still doin the same old shit they always did.
I bet Fei does get nerfed just because Justin was winning with him and they need to “balance” him out because of his amazing counter ultra. He is cursed to low / low mid tier for life lol.

Well it might not be so bad. They could still fix the first ultra to work better. But the new ultra…while nice, is doa. I was hoping it was a grab.
Also guys, remember, Seth said that SSF4 would be much more offensive this time around, I know it seems lame it’s a counter now, but that wasn’t the final build which felt a lot like SF4, I’m sure a lot of frame shenanigans will be moved around (and tighten that reversal window!) Maybe it’ll actually be good, ya know? I mean, sure, it can get baited but we’ll see how things go. maybe it won’t be a counter. eh, who knows. @_@
Ugh I know and I was thinking of switching back to Fei as my full time main but no way in hell with an ultra like that. This character is so fucking doomed
