So, I was pretty busy today. Got notified while I was doing my first donation that my phone holder had came in. So I got finished with that, gassed up my car and headed to the Amazon counter in town. The Amazon counter in my hometown is at a clothing store in the Mall, and I try to avoid the mall at all costs unless absolutely necessary. Spent the afternoon installing it, and it works pretty damn well.
Got tomorrow free, Wednesday is a work day out of town. Rest of the week is work intown.

All my local news outlets are posting stories about Chick Fil A having the longest drive thru waits.
I feel like itâs a smear campaign. As long as McDonaldâs exists, there is literally no way that CFA could have the longest waits. Pretty any fast food with shit employees, which means all of them.
McDâs or Popeyeâs has to be paying them, LOL. I mean, when I hear CFA, you hear of happy employees, and employees literally SAVING people. At Poopeyes or MacDondals youâd probably have to fight an employee.
I donât go to CFA, because I donât like the waffle fries. But they, and Chipotle are the ONLY places that I will go to. I still havenât been to any fast food since my trip, minus Chipotle. Had my eyes opened that fast food doesnât have to be shitty, so as long as it is, they can keep it.
Crazy that shitty service is normalized. They should go to a tip system. And that includes making base pay 2/hr or whatever they make. If my opinion of you makes your money, youâll have to do your job to make money.

So I just all of a sudden got a call from UPS. It was about a job I applied for months ago and forgot about. They invited me to their up coming career fair in Loisville Kentucky this thursday. Itâs nothing guaranteed but the recruiter said it could lead to something down the road.
Itâll be a 6hr event with a personality assessment, a mechanic assessment and a long ass 2 hr interview. They told me if I did get a job offer. They start out at $25 pr hr. And at 5 years max out at $60 pr hr!!! They are unionized which Iâm not familiar with.
And it has been years since Iâve done an interview. All my jobs in aviation. I got via contracting houses vouging for me. Thus no need for interviews. So anyone here works or have worked in a union job? What is a union and how is it? And any interview advice?
