My guess at that would be that selling stuff on test includes a different level of marketing, and ultimately it’s your equity in making a shared business decision. That’s intellectual help and shared financial responsibility.
Here’s something I like to employ in these situations, feel free to see if it works for you. When she asks for your feedback instead of analyzing right away ask “Is there a particular area you’d like specific feedback on? Like something you were conflicted about that I can help with or that you’d like to work on together?”
Bringing up working on a problem area together has implications that YOU alone can’t solve the problem either.
