I shared my Netflix account withy mom for almost 10 years and she barely watched anything on it.
The movie āthe 2 Popeāsā and like a few episodes of Brothers and Sisters and thatās it.
She said she wasnāt interested in most stuff there.
Does anyone else parents not really watch much streaming content?

My mom does. I gave her my Disney+ password for quarantine, and she watches Netflix and Prime too.
I donāt think my dad does though. He sticks to physical media for the most part, I believe.

I think my parents are just too accustomed to traditional tv/cable.
My mom watches a show called āthis is usā -a family drama on NBC and āthe voiceā in addition to news.
My dad just watches news but recently he started watching random crap on YouTube like documentaries and vlogs where they go to foreign countries and Indian news stuff.
Both of donāt ever buy DVD or Blu-ray discs.
Recently I got a 1 year Amazon prime free subscription and put that Mrs Maisel show for her but she said it was boring lol.
I, on the other hand, usually donāt have trouble finding stuff to watch on streaming(though Netflix lost its shine with the loss of Netflix Marvel/DC CW, Voltron,Bojack,House of Cards,Kimmy Schmidt)

My grandfather bought a 1080p Smart TV so he could watch baseball on channel 3ā¦the standard deff, 4:3 ratio broadcast 
For Netflix Iām waiting on the new seasons of She-Ra, Carmen Sandiego, and The Witcher.
Itās Disney + Iāve been struggling to find stuff to watch on. I feel the PS4 app isnāt very good and doesnāt show me their true catalogue.

I donāt think thereās much to watch on Disney+, unless youāve got toddlers or havenāt seen all the Marvel and Pixar movies yet.
Thereās the Mandalorian and basically nothing else, as far as grown up content.

It terms of actual content Disney+ has a lot to offer. A lot more than people give it credit for.
But in original content outside of Mando, SE7 of Clone Wars and Jeff Goldblums show, yeah, there isnāt much. But it also hasnāt even been out 6 months yet. So, seems a little unjust to criticize it.
In terms of other streaming services there are very little originals I find fun and/or interesting. I keep the services for my parents who pay half of the total amount for the services we use (Hulu Live TV+ no ads, Netflix, Disney+)
