I am. I am telling you to have the confidence in yourselves by stepping out of your fantasy circles that you have been jerking off in and experience the real thing. It’s not lowering your standards, it’s accepting your tier list.

For your top sentence: no you don’t.

Still on the rating scale? In this case either 1 or 0 works better

Sounds like a Guile win quote that was left on the cutting room floor.

I wonder how much of a threat those legends we know would be if they dove into NRS games for real. I know there’s no incentive for that; even when NRS stuff was at EVO it was treated almost second class. Still, that’s something I want to see. Has any one of them tried?

There is incentive for them to play the games.

They don’t because…Games must be ass if they don’t play them TBH. With the amount of money NRS throws at their pro-league stuff, you’d think people would be jumping at it. Capcom and anime dudes just stay on their games for the most part.

Conclusion: NRS games are hot trash.

The Kuwaiti dinar (Arabic: دينار كويتي‎, code: KWD) is the currency of Kuwait. It is sub-divided into 1,000 fils. As of September 2019, the Kuwaiti dinar is the world’s highest-valued currency unit per face value.

Yeah, read it again; the world’s highest-valued currency unit per face value!!!

1 Kuwaiti Dinar equals 3.25 United States Dollar!!!

Go home and be a family man who has an ugly wife and has stopped jacking off.

It may not be that they dislike the games; just that it’s too much. Regardless of what it is, it’s hard to learn a game different from what you like well enough to beat the best. That opportunity cost is a factor to consider. Does what NRS is offering money-wise beat what Capcom and those Anime games are offering?

Though I’m a bit biased in that I still like MK. Off-topic: I wish they’d kept MK9’s style of play and made incremental improvements. They try too hard to “innovate” between games, and if you wind up not liking what they produce that much, it’s gonna be 4 years before the next one.

I set my goal of leaving this company for better pastures this March but unfortunately I’ll be failing that. Can’t seem to find sea school classes around my schedule.

Firefighting classes I can pull off, cuz they’re only 2 days. But tankerman classes are about 5 days and there’s absolutely no way I pull that off unless I’m allowed to split them up.

Even then, may be months before I can finish that last few days. Fuck

What kind of work would you want to get into in the casino gaming industry?

This is a bad take. Everything NRS has done in this past gen has been better than everything Capcom’s done in fighting games since SFxT 2013 except 3sOE, but I don’t count that because it’s a port. NRS just makes their older games obsolete by putting so much money behind the newer games to get people playing them and letting the old ones die off. MK9 and IJ2 are solid games, and if you’re into an MvC3 type of Tod type game, MKX is your shit.

Capcom players just don’t play anything else, that’s why even Capcom’s bad games stick around.

Slot machines. Specifically mechanical engineering. I’ve been doing mechanical engineer work the last 6 years or so.

Like maintenance of them or building them?

I did some sound design/composing work for a slots company, but they were doing more online games than actual machines.

Thats demonstrably untrue though.

NRS games have flamed out in 2 years constantly. You could a major with all of the PS4 releases of games they have.

Capcom people support their games more than NRS dudes. NRS scene can stay holding that.

NRS has been on a roll since MK9. I like their scene and games way more than I do modern capcom.

Outside of old school run back tournaments and events, NRS and Tekken are pretty much the only reasons I still follow the community these days.

Modern day capcom fighters are boring as fuck from a player and spectator standpoint.

NRS scene barely supports their games.

Wtf is there to like?

To me, that’s really the only problem. The lack of support from the community.

Like, I could still be playing MK9 to this day if there were people on it. That, you can blame on people not playing next gen.

But I hear people in the scene actually scoff at those who play earlier games. Calling them Necro or something.

Wouldn’t it be the other way around? They moved on to the new stuff. The next gen?

NRS games flame out because they release a new game on the heels of the last one as opposed to Capcom keeping shit like SF4/5 around for the better part of a decade. NRS players have the option to either play the new games that have more NRS supoort or stick with the older one where they’d be on their own, as opposed to Capcom players who have no choice but to play the same game for 5+ years.
