Yeahā¦you both left out the parts where he actually does get over Margaret, leaves the park, rekindles his passion for art and makes a successful career out of it along with gets married to a Batgirl named Stef and has 3 kids. The dude gets a happy ending.

That was at the very end of the series. None of that changed the fact he spent all that time trying to get out the friend zone while she went on dates. Got shut down, and let a good thing with Cloudy J go to ruin over a woman he had no chance with.
Heās a simp for letting Margrete have that much influence over him. So fixated on her that he never dated other women until she turned him down. Just lingering in the friend zone

Yeah? Which is ultimately what matters, isnāt it? He got over his hang ups, emotionally and mentally grew up and got on with his life and became genuinely happy.
How is that being a simp? Everyone has the dumb bravado and pride when people reject them whether itās a romantic relationship or otherwise.
Cause we see something in them we want. If they arenāt willing to give that we need to either get over it and move on or get it over and still be a friend at whatever level they allow us to be.
Iāve been āfriend zonedā a few times. You know what happened? I got over it and just accepted that they just want to be friends. And Iām still friends with those people to this day.
Not to say I didnāt give up and move on. That usually happened when I was younger. As I got older I mostly just accepted it. Cause not every relationship is going to be what you want or how you want it. Some people just arenāt there yet or will never be there.
I get super uncomfortable when people ive met and hang out with here in AR call me their friend. Cause Iām so scared of getting close to people due to past experiences with so called āfriendsā and ābest friendsā that I donāt want to get fucked over again.

Wow. I actually OWE money on my taxes this year because my work never changed my address on my paystubs. Iām sure I let them know and asked for that, but it didnāt happen. Now I have to pay city tax.
Plus Iām losing the equivalent of my entire next paycheck to repairs for my car.
Iām so glad I saved up knowing these Jan/Feb months are going to fuck me over somehow. Itās surreal for all this to be happening and to have me not wanting to murder everything in sight. I still want to at least kick something over though.

well, I didnāt know there was āFriend Zoneā subject matter in those cartoonsā¦I shouldāve watched more of them then. I only saw a few episodes of those shows on occasionā¦ a case of there just being too many damn shows to keep up with. ā¦but yeah, that particular topic always catches my interest for quite a few reasonsā¦perhaps part of certain underlying āissuesā that a psychiatrist would have fun attempting to analyze, Iām sure.
This reminds me; one point of frustration in life is when realizing that most other people arenāt anywhere near as passionate as you are about certain thingsā¦and you realize you have to move on and talk about other topics at some point so as not to seem like too much of a boring or obsessed person.
