All true except that this ep. was about Jack and to me most Jack eps aren’t all that interesting.

Because the smoke monster doesn’t kill everyone. People have escaped it before, this isn’t new.
^True but the smoke monster ‘covered’ them, or rather was very violent with them to the point you could tell that it was killing them.

We didn’t see it cover all of them, just it appear in the trees and grab a few of them. I am starting to wondering if the black smoke can’t really target more than one person at a time.
We never really know how many men Keamy had, probably about six including himself but it looks very much like he at least lost two to the smoke.
Episode was great imo, wondering about the whole moris code thing a little now.

Also, the morse code thing has to do with the time shift that happens when traveling to and from the island. Apparently the doctor washed up dead on the island a day before he was actually killed.

Excellent news. Even though we only have 14 of the 16 planned episodes for this season due to the writers strike, it looks like the writers are going to write 17 episodes for the next 2 seasons instead of the planned 16.
Good stuff. It’s nice to see that the writers really care about the show and how they don’t want us to feel rip-off because of the strike.

i thought that Alpert wasn’t the dad because when he was in the hospital watching Locke with Locke’s mom and her mom, the nurse asked Locke’s granny if she knew that guy and she said ‘no.’ Locke’s mom’s mom knew the guy Locke’s mom was dating because she was all like “he’s twice your age!” could Locke possibly be a decedent of Jacob (assuming Jacob is an old dude)?
