The episode was brutal only in the fact that they beat you over the head with the drama. I used to be able to dig Jack episodes, but now the nigga is turning into Kate. The best things in tonight episode (IMO) are as followed…

Yeah that was a pretty pointless episode.
The good thing, though, is that it was still fairly enjoyable. The writers must have gotten a big raise after their strike because they are writing up a storm. They can make even the boring stories entertaining!

I don’t think that’s true. I think they have a gentleman’s agreement not to kill each other. if the island wouldn’t let them die, Penny’s dad wouldn’t have asked if Ben were there to kill him. There’s obviously an understanding between them because when Ben’s daughter dies he goes berserk and says “he changed the rules!”
