I still don’t get what Ben’s attachment to Alex is. But damn Rosseau for being dumb enough to trust Ben, motherhood made her soft and now look what happens. Can you guys believe if the writer strike didn’t end THIS would be the final episode of the season?
^Why WOULDN’T she trust Ben? I mean heck the rest of Ben’s group are the Temple and if Ben says it’s safe seeing as HE KNOWS MORE ABOUT THE ISLAND THAN DANIEL HAD (SPENDING MORE THAN 15 YEARS IN A FUCKING HOLE), wouldn’t you trust him to protect your daughter?
IMHO I believe the sniper(s) are Ben’s people who have revolted against him.

before in an interview, the doods said they wanted to give her an episode in like season 5.
who knows if it’ll be an episode where she is prominently featured in the flashbacks, or one where she’s still alive and focuses on what she’s doing at the moment.
either way, she been alive for a pretty damn long time… I think she’s doing a pretty good job, but we’ll see…

But its fucking Ben. Dude kidnapped old girl from her mom as an infant. He has kidnapped folk repeatedly. Lies more than some people take breaths and has tried to brainwash old girl boyfriend.
Ben walking around free is a testament to Locke’s stupidity as it is Ben’s evil genius (emphasis on evil). But since Alex has spent 16 years with old dude, you’d figure she’d recognize nothing good comes from trusting Ben.
^You are correct but you have to consider their situation; more than anything Daniel wants to protect her daughter, what with the fact that people from the freighter aren’t here to get them off the island, so she has no choice but to go with whatever may protect Alex.
I stll agree with the whole don’t trust Ben thing, but what choice does Daniel have? Her old place is blown up and cosmos knows how she stayed alive after that and not got GGPOed by the monster.
