The LOST thread

Sic ending, I don’t know what went on there. Im going to have to watch it again.
Wow :looney:

The Jin parts were obvious as to when they happened.

Now the Zoe Bell stuff… that’s a little fucked up. I don’t think she needed a stunt double for that.

Jin

[details=Spoiler]I realize that now with the fat ass phone, but it is still sort of gay that they ran it parallel along with Sun’s flashforward, to fake out the audience. I mean there was no real story content in Jin’s portion which makes the whole thing a waste of time.

At least they could have linked Jin’s part to some other part of the plot, because of now it is just like dating out a hot woman only to find out on the couch that you are a victim of the Crying Game. [/details]

It was somewhat fucked up with the girl, but the minute I saw she was blond I figured it was her in the commercial/preview.

Of all things he turns out to be, it’s a janitor.

They promoted this episode by saying we’d find out who the last two oceanic six are. Sun yes. But Jin died in the crash. So, we’re missing one.

The possibilities are Aaron, and Michael.

Aaron gets ruled out cause the podcast said it wasnt him. So it’s michael? Guess we have to wait and find out. it’s dumb that they’d say we’d find out when we haven’t.

hmm…so the funeral bit in the season 3 ender was referring to jin? i didn’t catch that it was a flashback for his part since i was more listening than watching while working

I’m pretty sure the funeral in Season 3 wasn’t Jin’s. Jin’s probably buried in Korea, as Sun was surprised that Hurley made it out there.

The only thing that clued me in to the Jin scenes being flashbacks was when the store clerk said for him to get the stuffed Dragon instead of the stuffed Panda because it was the year of the dragon… which I know has passed a while back.

Truthfully, I thought overall a boring episode except for the last scene.

i feel as if this episode was an insult to Lost fans as its putting both a flashback and a flashforward to create suspsense.

hell, anything is suspenseful if you put it out of order.

Lost was pretty good this week… but The Constant is still the best episode this season!

What makes you think Jin died in the crash? It’s possible he’s not even dead, but they had funerals for all the people that stayed on the island (because the public thinks the oceanic 6 were the only ones to survive), and somehow he got left behind.

If Jin is dead, and he died after he was rescued, then he would be the last of the oceanic 6.

Jin died in the crash because it was indicated by the date on the gravestone. So Sun is in mourning because he died on the island or he’s still there.

I thought it was pretty cool, so long they don’t make this a trend…

And LOL @ Michael being a janitor, thats some hate.

Read what Yellow S4 said. In kates episode when Jack testified he said that 8 people actually survived the crash, but that two of them died before the rescue.

Sun is either crying cause Jin is dead, or cause he is left on the island. All the foreshadowing points to dead. And the fact that sun and hurley are dressed in black. If they both know he is alive, then, why would they even goto the gravestone. It would be meaningless, they could just stay home and cry about jin being left behind.

Almost caught up… on Ep 4 right now. What’s it at, ep 7?

I knew the kid would be Aaron…

Yes, ep7.

Great Observations

I see now that the date of death on the gravestone was the date of the crash. What does Jack testifying about the 8 people have to do with it?

If Jin is still on the island…that may effectively mean the same thing as death for Sun who may never be able to see him again. They are obviously hiding the fact that there were other survivors. If Jin had actually died on the island, Sun would know the exact date and that should be reflected on his tomb stone.

If the exact date were on his timbstone…that would be a dead giveaway to the media and everyone else that there is a cover up going on, espeically since everyone that was on the plane is documented.

I guess there’s too much unknown to draw any conclusions right now. The staged crash was several thousand miles off course. How was their rescue made public? Where were they rescued? Why did Jack say only 2 extra people survived? How did they explain the 6 survivors when it was already reported that the plane was found with all passengers on board?

The Captain is the real spy, hence the note.
…that or it’s someone else all together :stuck_out_tongue:
