im not really sure why everyone on srk is all gung ho about killing off charlie.
i actually like the guy. it was a pretty touching ep with him leaving claire the list of his memories with her being the number 1 memory.
i for one hope he lives, but i know he will die
I am actually on the Kill Charlie band wagon, but I got to admit, that “Greatest Hits” episode made me like him again. After all the times when he came off as a bitch, he finally shows real depth.

…but, he asked Locke to help him so he may be just as much a prisoner as everybody else. Was Ben trying to be a dick to Locke in Jacob’s hut or was he sincere? Did he assume that Locke could see him or was he patronizing him?
…and why would Ben do what he did to Locke after bringing him into the Others? WTF?
I’m hoping we find out more about Jacob in the season finale tonight.

So is Jack actually aware of the flash-forward stuff like Desmond is, or was that stuff just for the viewer’s benefit? Obviously getting off the island didn’t fix anything for him, but I’ve been thinking since before the end of season 2 that none of the main characters really have a substantial reason to leave the island anyway.
Personally I blame that turd Ben for not being straight with people in the first place. It wouldn’t have come to any of this if he’d attempted to be straightforward with Jack or Locke instead of his manipulatory bullshit. Watching Jack straddle him and pound his face UFC style came second only to seeing Sawyer go beast mode and paying Tom back just like he said he would with a bullet.
