I read in one issue of Entertainment Weekly that ABC has been talking with the writers about when to end the show due to poorer ratings. The show was originally planned for 5 seasons with a movie, so it may finished prematurely.
Jin is not going to go Yakuza on anybody’s ass because he’s not Japanese. He’s Korean. The Korean equivalent of a gang would be called Zerg. You can hear them come with the “kekeke” war cries. 
Last week’s episode was the best of the season IMO. But the Desmond one was hot shit, too. Lost rocks.

[details=Spoiler]If Jack sleeps with Kate or professes his love for her before or during the season finale, he is going to die.
Let’s take a look at the evidence.
- Apparently he is getting the flashback for the two hour finale. Other than his death or the resurrection of his father, why would he get the flashback.
- The survivors have been shown to survive a little without him and Hurley was grooming Sawyer to replace him.
- If Juliet turns against the Others, they will have another doctor.
- Heck, he was supposed to die in the original pilot.
But that is just my idea on the subject. By season end, either Jack, Locke or Charlie will probably be dead the way the series is progressing. [/details]

Lost only sort of sucked in the second season, when they were obviously killing time, like with the opening episodes or when Kate was the focus. Sadly, the third season repeated this a little, with a lot of episodes that feel exactly like unhidden filler and seem meant to return stuff to the status quo with only the occasional twist. But the recent episodes have been sort of good.
I wonder when BKV will start to have a stronger influence on the show.

And, I can’t believe I’m saying this, I agree with Charlie for once they should have killed him again.
It was an okay ep, at the end I was just waiting for Juliet to bring the Others out to kidnap preggers, not leave a voicemail for Ben.

I had a feeling Locke’s Dad was going to be, well, you know who, to Sawyer a ways back. Honestly surprised not many people saw, or made mention, of it coming down to that.
Heh, that was a great ep. Bumble Locke turned into Evil Locke, and Pussy Sawyer got his balls back.
I want to shoryuken Kate for going crying to her “daddy” about what Desmond and the others were doing. I am really hoping there’s a whole ep where smokey just reams Kate for a whole hour and then tosses her into the camp, dead and without skin.
