Anyone notice how how Micheal and Walt, didn’t get mentioned at all in the recap. I guess they have been written out for good, since they didn’t see need to bring up the major catalyst for Jack and them getting captured.
I have to admit the commercial breaks every five or ten minutes are killing the show.
Pretty Good Episode
[details=Spoiler] Really the only thing revealed is that not everyone on the island is born there or crashes on it. Juliet has been stealing the show for me but I am interested in how Alex, Ben and Rosseau are connected and if Ben just adopted Alex or if he was Rosseau’s husband.
I saw the bus thing coming a mile away. [/details]
Latest episode was pretty good. Interested in seeing how things develop from here.
The scene with Alex’s boyfriend in that room was very A Clockwork Orange-ish.
I was reading a magazine article a couple of days back and in the interview (I believe it was) Damon Lindelof said that Micheal and Walt are of no concern to the storyline at the moment, but are far from being out of the picture completely.
I liked the return a lot. I’m assuming the DHARMA initiative started outside of Portland? And it’s about time someone started threatening ‘The Other’s,’ Kate and Sawyer should have shot Picket and the Other guy instead of just locking them up in the cage.
Batmanuel is the real leader of the Others. Be careful what you wish for when he is around. “What, I didn’t remember you saying that at all, mwuhahahahaa!”
that is awesome! this brings up one of my friend’s theories perfectly:
theory
[details=Spoiler] 1. the island is in a different time period ahead of 2004.
whenever someone doesn’t push the now extinct “button”, a rift creates; and brings shit through it: i.e. the ancient slave ship in the middle of the island; the Oceanic flight with the LOST people, possibly The Black Smoke Monster(s).
Desmond is/was a time traveler, or knows about what’s going on, which is probably why he can tell the future (he’s already lived it or heard about it). it also gives another reason why he was so desperate to leave; he was trying to get back to his time period, OR the time period to where he was racing his girl’s dad around the world (maybe he lost the race in the future and went back in time for a “do over.”)
some or all of “The Others” are from the future, and maybe know something that will happen that involves specific survivors of the Oceanic Flight.[/details]
That’s a very interesting theory. The clip was most excellent. Perhaps I underrate the series. Then again, there have been many lows throught the last little while.
I like that the series has been given a timeline. They story will finnaly start moving forward again.
