The LOST thread

Payback is a bitch

I hate Sawyer. Someone get this Chad Kroeger looking guy off my island. kthx

He’s one of the only people that actually do something useful in this show.

Oh I know he does, it’s just that I simply don’t like him as a whole. His whole persona just irks me.

Sawyer and Hurley are the only good characters on the show

I agree with Hurley being a good character. Sawyer just doesn’t click with me =/

Don’t be a fanboy, be real. This week’s episode was very good, especially the BOOM part. Very awesome. But there is no reason that the first 11 episodes needed to be so slow and waste so much time to get to the good stuff. They were not needed to set this up, AT ALL. One or two episodes to establish an alternate universe with differences is more than enough to start connecting them, instead of doing a character by character expose’ on how different they are in the other world. It has no consequence.

Once again I agree 200%.

lol well real talk, the lead up to this shit was no different from the seasons of bullshit and no answers before. Its lost, what do you expect. And its tough to judge until the full story is completed. You were talking about how the alt universe means nothing, well aparently thats not going to be the case. This ep was pretty good, i assume the rest will continue as such.

Really, Desmond? You couldn’t get your point across any other way? Of course, he DID just toss your ass down a well, then you jumped realities and remembered that shit like “Oh, really? Well.Tag, my nigga.”

So Desmond is a pedo who runs over disabled people from Ben’s perspective in the alt universe. So what will happen Locke will suddenly be able to walk or Locke will go to the hospital and Jack operates on him.

Good ep overall, but hurley’s alt story line was kind of boring.

“Thats a lot of chicken…”
“IM DEPRESSED!”

Okay, I can’t take anymore of this “Whitmore” garbage. his name is Chales Widmore. WIDMORE.

The reason he ran over John Locke was because he remembered John Locke as being evil from his flashes. He thought it would be a good idea to kill that representation of that person here. He was probably wrong, but oh well. They’re setting up the “flash sideways” as a “what happens when/if Flocke makes it back” or some shit. It’s not just a “What if” but a “when this happens, here’s how it’s undone”. Kind of thing. Somewhat interesting, but still very disappointing.

Desmond is making me happy. Other than unexplainably hitting Innocent John L. He’s like Cupid or something. lol. At least they explained why Libby’s in the looney bin.

HUGO FTW!!!

I personally always pegged desmond as a stairs man.

Finding out that those whispers were just dead people on the island that cant move on was pretty disappointing. I mean, that would make the most sense and that’s actually what i suspected since the beginning, but still…i wanted a cooler answer.

Where the hell are Christian and John Lockes respective ghosts? And when Flocke met Jack for the first time, he looked at him and… I dunno, with loving eyes. Kinda weird, still.

But isn’t that what Lost is all about. The character expose is Lost’s calling card. It’s what they’ve done for the Flashbacks, Flashforwards and now Flashsideways. By doing these for each character you learn their history, their future, and also what they would have done differently if they had the chance. Lost isn’t all-out action like 24. It’s always been about the characters.

Here is Damon Lindelof’s response to all those who say the Flashsideways stories have no consequence:
“People are saying [they] don’t need these stories and all we can say is they’re absolutely 100 percent necessary to tell the story of Lost, and hopefully by the end of the season it will be more obvious as to why,”

Michael mentioned that he couldn’t move on because of what he did? Murdering Ana-Lucia and Libby? Also keep in mind that Christian and John Locke didn’t actually die on the island. Technically neither did Michael, but he was still caught in the islands “radii” when the freighter blew up like Jin was when they “moved” the island.

Also doesn’t explain the whispers that preceded the Walt ghost that appeared right before Shannon was shot since Walt never died.

The writers explanation of the whispers felt kinda cheap and easy.

Idk why people were so cut up in learning what the mysteries are when it’s all some supernatural bullshit. Way to theorize for absolutely nothing. Using logic for this show is as useless as trying to get my grandmother to do a rom infinite with magneto.

What people need to realize is that the “flash sideways” are VERY important to where they’re going while finishing the show. Don’t hate, just try to understand.

Flash sideways or not everything turned into bullshit lol.
