I would be able to stand Lost season 3 a hell of a lot more if they didn’t have flashbacks.
Just show us the secrets of the island, smoky, the others, spiritual stuff, sci-fi stuff, etc.

I come home from All Saints Mass to catch the last twenty minutes of Lost, and I see is the best representation of a Nigerian currently in western media get taken out.
Man, this better be a damn good season, cause I almost feel like I should drop the show just cause of this. And his last words, if Locke is to be believed are laughable.

I think whats-her-name’s bit with the cue cards was a load of crap, just another swerve, although I think what she said about Ben was true, she’s probably even worse than he is.

I can’t believe all the regularly casted black people on the show are gone.
Although Eko’s vision in the forest makes it seem like the Black Smoke actually set up Shannon to die last season and the bit with the body shows where Jack’s dad might have gone. It makes me wonder, why it waited till now to kill Eko, instead of that first time and what was up with the confession bit?
Colt. Steele: I feel you on Juliet, after watching the entire episode and remembering her past actions, the woman and Ben just screams power struggle. It will be interesting if Jack actually goes through with it.

worst thing this show has ever done. Killed off eko…one of the best characters, and introduced two new douche bags. Wtf was with them not thinking that the other tvs could mointer other things…like did they just leave that out and save it so they could introduce that stupid skank. That was gay. Eko saying “you’re next” ? that was gay. Best thing ever though…adding a pirate to the show.
Eitherway, i still think ben and sara? are fucking with jack.

Pretty much the highlight of last night, really. I was hoping he’d TIGER! something to the screen instead of just putting his hand over it. Season 3 is a lame duck so far, except for the Locke ep and most of the Sawyer ep. I hope that we get a good character trade-off with Eko gone and Juliet showing promise.
At this point, was there any reason to develop the tailies? Bleh.
Also Rodrigo Santi-whateverthefuck is a dumb addition. I was hoping the red shirt he wore indicated death; having whatever he shat out in the Pearl’s toilet devour him would have been more entertaining than what we’ve seen for most of the season.
At least we know the smoke monster has a purpose now instead of being “just there”.

it probably belongs to the eye patch guy they saw in the video in the Pearl.
Also another thing to note is that Ben and Juliet may in the whole thing together and just playing games with Jack’s mind.
Ben says he has a tumor… but we know that the island has healing properties. It healed Locke’s paralysis, Jin’s impotence, and also Rose’s cancer.
If the island can heal cancer, perhaps the x-rays are a fake and Ben doesn’t actually have cancer.

With that said, I will miss Mr echo. He was my favorite character. Right now, I don’t even feel like watching the show anymore. I wish they would had killed Charlie instead. :sad:

Or Ben doesn’t know about the islands healing properties…and since he doesn’t really live on the island, who knows how much time he’s on it…it might not have healed him.
Or maybe the island only heals those with a good heart or some kind of shit like that.

The station he is currently on is not the same island as the one with the mysteries. However, the suburb community at the start of season 3 is on the same island. I’m not sure how long he’s been here though… he claims that he spent his entire life on the island but that could be a lie.
Yeah I suppose Ben acting all whack on Juliet throws that theory off. There is the chance that maybe the xrays are fake and Ben just didn’t want to show them to Jack yet. I dunno.
It’s sad to see eko go though. The survivors lost their biggest physical component.

Yeah i was thinking that too…the only thing that makes me think different is that he refered to them as “my xrays” if they were fakes i would think he would refer to them as “the xrays” Eitherway…they very well could be fakes. Ben and Juliet are fuckers…there fucking with my mind too much haha. I really want to see one of them get punched in the face. Actually i’d really like to see that guy who’s wife got shot by sun get punched in the face agian. He pisses me off everytime he’s on screen.

I was all ready to dismiss this last Lost as a complete snorefest but then they go and tack on Ecko dying and its like wtf…talk about most useless character ever.

anyway, dunno waht else to say. Kind of agree with the snorefest. Only more questions. And the winter hiatus/break they’re taking is going to piss viewers off even more.
