I forgot to put quotes around it.

You wanna run that by me one more time?

He said you hate black people and Mexicans.

Also arin is like daww i cant handle multiple enemies bad game!
I guess he couldnt find real criticisms about the game so he had to take little jabs at the stupidest things he thought were actual problems.
Also i feel like he did it because “criticizing ocarina is some sort of taboo” and he would get more uproar out of it.
From what i heard from game grumps when i used to watch it seems like he disliked oot fans.

OoT has been criticized long before Arin did it. He’s not exactly treading new ground.

I thought it was self explanatory. You and specs both said you have no problem judging an entire game from playing only a small portion, and as crotchpuncha already said you two are entitled to do so. I simply stated the fact that to make an assumption on anything in it’s entirety without having the full information is defined as being close minded. Racists have the same exact mentality, but apply it to people not games they too make judgements of entire races based on their limited knowledge/experience. I’m not saying you and specs aren’t allowed to be close minded or even that you shouldn’t be, you two are adults think however you want, I only observed that you two were thinking with a close mind at the time of your posts.

Saying “this game sucks from what little I have played so far, maybe it gets better or worse, but I’m not interested in finding out either way” is very different from saying “this entire game sucks even though I only played a little of it”.

Context is important in language.

yeah i agree ,but that’s not what he believes.
in the video you can see it in the straw man he creates.
i also got this vibe from some of the gamegrumps vids.
He comes at it with oh hey i’m not manipulated by nostalgia everyone else is stupid seeing as how everyone and their moms played it when the 64 was relevant.

Because games rarely change drastically enough to be seen differently after 3-4 hours.

It is fair to dismiss the game and say “this game has been ass for what I played and seeing as games don’t change much hours in I can’t imagine the game will have done it for me if I put more time in” This isn’t being close minded at all. By that logic I’d have to follow every human being on earth around 24/7 from birth to death to tell you anything about them.

That being said…

Reading is also important in language.

Too long, didn’t read version:

Correct on all fronts there, though.

LOL
Are you able to be not passive-aggressive as all hell if you try?

Yes/no, one-word answer, please.

Maybe you can ask me when I do the AMA on Reddit that nobody wants.

Not only did you do what I just mentioned right here, I don’t see a yes or no, or even a one word answer.

Admission enough!

I lol @ anyone who bitches about “the Zelda formula” who has not played either Skywardu Swortu or Linku Between Warudos, the two games that have tried hardest to break away from the traditional formula without fucking up since Adventuru of Linku.

I’m going to run that Miyamoto JPEG into the ground dealing with people that don’t know what they want…

I’m playing Link Between Worlds right now.

This is fantastic! I really like it. I like that they brought back 80’s brown sleeves Link, I like that you move quickly, I like running around finding shit.

It’s awesome!

Skyward Sword wishes it could be this awesome.

I personally have never been disappointed in a Zelda game as of yet. I love all of them and will continue to look forward to the next one.

…speaking of that I still need to get back to finishing my Hero Mode run of ALBW. I already 100%'d my main playthrough.

Aside from brown sleeves Link all of that stuff you mentioned is in Skyward Sword.

po are you referring to me?

Yup, it seems a lot of people on the internet anyway hate Phantom Hourglass because you had to revisit the temple of the ocean king throughout the game, but each level kept it fresh and inventive enough to make the back tracking fun and the hide and seek mechanic with the phantoms clicked for me. That being said I wouldn’t want another Zelda like it

Probably not.

A Link Between Worlds is pretty kickass. First Zelda game I actually loved in a very long time.

Wasn’t necessarily referring to you, Zoo, since you actually like most games in the series and don’t have shitty reasoning as a thinly veiled excuse to throw hate on Nintendo for “not innovating enough” when they do try to change that shit up every game…

Unlike certain series on those “other” consoles who literally do the same shit every year, but never catch any shade from the gaming media for doing so… :coffee:

I pretty much like all Zelda games. I think the only one I didn’t finish was the one with those fucking trains.

Only Zeldas I haven’t played are the DS ones (and the 3DS one). I heard the DS ones where bad, (Probably check them out some day anyway) and I don’t have a 3DS. I still have yet to play a Zelda game I didn’t like on some level.
