Why wouldn’t it be farfetched? It looks like this games version of his shield tackle from the previous game.
It being the first stage doesn’t matter. Again. It’s likely a built that was made specifically for TGS. Nintendo does it all the time with their Treehouse demonstrations. As do other companies.
I don’t see how that is so hard to understand
Footage.
Looks like his running attack. (You can briefly see him starting the dash animation) I find it exceedingly hard to believe that’s a locked move to begin with, and even if it isn’t, this looks way too much like a first map. Heart count is low too, so it doesn’t seem like they got a higher-leveled Link on Free Mode.
Speaking of which, I can see some parallels between AoC Sword Link and HW Sword Link.
Spin attack looks like his C1 and also the weapon gimmick of being able to hold the Strong button to charge up a Spin midcombo.
Edit: he also does the Shield Surf here. Animation is reused for his C2, so it’s absolutely not an unlockable move.
Edit 2: Apparently, there are Character Actions in this game and this might be one of Link’s alongside his rapid-fire bow shots.
I’m kinda not used to having so many options in a Warriors game.
Edit 3: Nope. The bow is Link’s action.
Well yeah, I can tell by looking at it that’s it not quite like BOTW, but it looked more like it when they were fighting the area bosses (like the move where you back-dash at the last second in slow-mo - I think it was called the “fury rush” or something like that, and just the general dashing and moving around).
I realize there’s a whole different arsenal of attacks, loosely based on BOTW, but with a lot of more stuff, but I’m okay with that. If anything, it seems like there’s more to do, which sounds fun.
Omfg. It’s pointless to even try to talk to volt about this since he’s too caught up in his own dumb ass narrative.
It. Is. A. Build. Specifically. Made. For. T. G. S.
Oh yeah, kinda overlooked this…
Hell no. This is game journalist-tier gameplay. These dudes ain’t using lock-on or even controlling their camera right.
Oh man, leave my man Beedle alone.
Beedle is a good boi. Did they forget about to Ooccoo’s? Those things are fucking nightmare fuel
Ooccos aren’t in BOTW.
And I dunno man. Not sure I trust Beedle. He’s always plotting to steal my Energetic Stag Beetles man.
I didn’t see they were talking about BotW specifically.
Beedle might be a touch shady, but I wouldn’t call someone who’s character designs got carried over from Wind Waker to BOTW without any changes Ugly.
It’s the article title Stu…
Anyway I do agree with you Ooccos are probably the ugliest things in all of Zelda lol. I’m trying but I really can’t think of something worse.
Edit: Man is Beedle is WW? Its been so fucking long. Thinking on it a second he had a boat shop in that one right?
And naw I don’t think Beedle is ugly. He’s just always tryin to get at my bug collection, dudes not trustworthy lol.
Nother fugly face
She’s mean mugging you too
Like I also feel Kilton shoudn’t be on the list as isn’t he suposed to me more monster than man
Stu sometimes you are funny.
Beedle was an asshole in Skyward Sword. If you didn’t buy anything from him you didn’t get to leave his shop gracefully.
Yea Kilton shouldn’t be on the list.
To bad Tingle didn’t make the BOTW cut.
@SonicHuman Yea he’s a grouchy fuck in Skyward Sword, but I feel id be an asshole to if I spent all day pedaling my ass off to keep my shop afloat…literally.
Anyway, guys my first time. I hear I am in for a good if short adventure.
Minish cap so so god damn fun and incredibly charming. The Capcom trilogy of Zelda titles are great.
Yea I dig the Oracle games.
