The Legend of Zelda thread - Ganon's bodyshop will be open for business on Nov. 20th

I feel like grinding Talus spawns is still the fastest way to make money by far. I have a row of six that I like to farm after every blood moon. Nets me about 6000 or more rupees in sales once I take the rocks to Hateno.

Sounds like me farming Luminous stones, trading them for diamonds, then selling the Diamonds in to the one Gerudo Gorgon City.
It takes a bit of effort, but its nice to score 5,500 rupees in one shot

But selling 10 luminous stones is straight up worth more than the diamond you trade it for. Lol

I was gonna say. That Zora salesman is a con artist.

Unless there’s some merchant I don’t know about that pays you more for diamonds.

I’ve been holding onto all my stones, should I be selling them?

I dont sell all of my stones personally because you never know what you may come across that will require some of them. Every so often i will sell a half or maybe even close to 2/3s but never all.

I would just sell all of them all the time. Rupees over everything nigga.

If I ever needed a material, I’d just do my Talus run again. They’re so easy to kill with a good hammer weapon. Hell, just shoot their critical spots with bomb arrows and they go down like flies.

I only sold a diamond once when I was desperate for rupees. I hoard all of my ore. They are prime crafting material. Once I find a use of them I will be rocking in kick ass equipment.

Beat this game and I love it. I just wish the time stop ability wasn’t so broken. Once you master that, every enemy becomes super easy to kill.

Thanks for this tip. I’m going to do this to those Minotaur assholes.

Why are people on SRK of all places having trouble with Lynels? Their attacks are just straightforward as hell, and horrendously minus on block, much less parry.

Taking a Barbarian set, a 32x5 Savage Lynel Bow and a 110 Royal Guard Claymore with two full stamina wheels, this is how a Silver Lynel fight goes:
[] Roll up on Lynel
[
] Let him roar, committing to his big AOE blast
[] Drop a burst into his head to stuff him
[
] Drop two more bursts into his head while stunned
[] Mount and get 5 free hits with claymore
[
] Three headshot bursts in slo-mo
[] Repeat from 2
[
] ???

Dead Lynel
It really is that easy. If I somehow miss the headshot, there’s still plenty of time to put the bow away and get shield out in time to parry (react to the weapon hitting the ground), and take the free headshot salvo afterwards. After that, the routine does over 2500 damage (out of 5000), and his first attack after that threshold is going to be the AOE blast (again), so it makes them very predictable.

Only issue Iever had was parrying. Once I got that down I felt immortal.

Lynels are noob traps like most grapplers in the early life of a FG.

Don’t see how Stasis+ is broken. It never freezes them long enough for me to get enough hits, if any.

Where can I farm Lynels? I need horns

Generally it is long enough to line up an arrow which will stun a lot of things. Main reason it is really good.

I use Stasis+ to get Bobolkins off horse back

Got my BOTW hardcover official guide. This sucker comes with a sweet foldout map that shows the location of every single Korok! I cannot believe how many of these things I missed and I’m amazed that Nintendo was able to carefully hide 900 of these suckers! I probably won’t find all 900 but I’m on my way to 400 and I just wanna max out my inventory. I’m maxed out on weapon and bow space. Now I just need shields.

So I’m getting the hang of deflecting Guardian Stalker beams. I try to deflect the stationary units at Hyrule Castle and the timing on them is completely different from the Stalkers. Even with Max Ancient Armor a full on blast from a Guardian hurts like a mother.

Ffffuuuuuuuck. 900??? I have like 25, lol

Welp, finally marched my ass over to Hyrule Castle and murked Gannon.

[details=Spoiler] Really Nintendo? The last phase of the last boss has to remind me that horses control like they do in Two Worlds?

Fuck that mess, jumped off Finders and just used the glider for getting around with updrafts, kind of wish we could have a post game save to dick around with the light bow afterwards though, that thing is sick.
